Just to throw a spanner in the works and hopefully not p@ss anybody off but can I throw you off track for a brief moment...

What do you think of BORAGE OIL? I know we generally overdose on omega 6's but this being a good anti inflammatory 6 yeh?

Sorry.... Blush
*sendingaaussiemoscatoyourway*.... Wink nudge..

Borage oil is beneficial to NBE, and a good w-6 fatty acid. Definitely way too much confusion on omega's. Another good one is EPO. As always, make sure you get 3x times more omega 3 over omega 6 and inflammation will be reduced.

Sweettttttttt
Hi Lotus

Been following developments with great interest. Some amazing stuff! I may not be able to add much to the scientific data but could add my own experiences and observations if I may?

Green Tea combined with Citrus, especially when backed up with GTE.... works!! Can now confirm this from my own experience.

Metformin. Had a headslap moment when I read that bit! With hindsight I can see that's exactly what happened to me. I was only on Metformin for a short while but it also coincided with when I really ramped up my NBE programme. Guess that in part answers why my weight shot up and I was getting some contradictory effects to the NBE.

Again from my own experience, high blood sugar and cholesterol levels do impede NBE. Get them down and things improve noticeably.

You mentioned somewhere about Antihistamines. This started off a whole new line of thought for me. I must have blinked where you made the comment, but I couldn't quite get how you thought it might be helpful?

Method of delivery. Accepted wisdom is that as these substances go through the digestive system and liver, much seems to get lost. But I suspect we may be underestimating a potentially beneficial effect achieved by being 'processed'? My own experience with PM definitely seems to indicate that sublingual will give more of an immediate hit, but oral is without doubt still effective. And although I cannot be specific, I suspect may actually have different/complementary effects?

There is also a simple equation which those of us who are carrying around too many inches/cm may not fully realise the implications of. [Oestrogen loves fat~Testosterone loves muscle~Muscle burns fat] Let's just say that denial isn't just a river in Egypt and I fought reeeeally hard against accepting this one. But trying to loose weight while seriously ramping up oestrogen levels makes a difficult job almost *%$@£#*! impossible!

Not saying it can't be done if you are fit and healthy (which I am not), but we are talking lifelong changes here aren't we? Surely a little patience and planning can go a long way to making our long term goals far more achievable and with a lot less frustration and dissapointment? Pick your battles and you are more likely to win the war? I am working on a programme to do NBE and loose weight, and I do now believe it is possible. Early days but indications are very encouraging.

Oh, and anything that can reduce the need to chomp down loads of pills has got to be the way to go. Seriously interested in seeing how that line of thought progresses. Having 98% of hormones already in our system (so 100% natural) and not being utilised had got to be an opportunity worth exploring.

Exciting times to be on BN :-)

Do we really know how much anti-androgens or estrogens needed for getting results?. I doubt we truly know the answer as of yet, a human study would nice though. Rolleyes

its possible (imo) we fall short of using what we already have (hormones) stuck in our bloodstream......... Call it a pile up of traffic on the interstate (oh, and no exits in site). Quick, road crews to the recuse, meaning displacing hormones from the interstate to the nearest rest stop.........aka receptors. Well, crazy Lotus how in the hell do we do that?, (see I knew you'd ask). A combination of a few things, e.g. anti-inflammatories, adding more free-radicals, catalyzing inactive hormones (think STAT5 proteins, Biotin, green tea , Leptin, many others).

98% of inactive hormones are trapped, wtf huh?. Shouldn't we focus on that rather than chomping down mo pills?. RolleyesWink
----------------------------------------------------------------
I think the trapped hormones are the ones that are not metabolized and we should stop taking more hormone and work on metabolizing or flushing the excess out.

Very interesting Lotus...iM also after white peony atm, i should get rid off my overly enthousiastic pm usage.

Hannah,

I've been wondering how things are going for ya. Sourcing a quality WP via locally/internationally has been an issue. Search for a standardized product from a reputable source where possible.

Good luck Smile

Metformin......very much like Lilac and goats rue amazingly enough. A sudden drop in blood sugar combined with other meds can be deadly, @ saying " danger danger " Will Robinson & croc hunter too, RIP.

Yes, the impedance (for lack of a better word) sucks, quite frustrating tbh.

More likely to mean how Glucocorticoids have an effect in breasts, (since Glucocorticoid receptors are present in breast tissue, approx. 20% from what I've seen). How one gets a matching significance in boobs is up for debate. A concern is the absolute inflammation using Glucocorticoids cause inflammation in massive amounts. e.g. major harm. 1-2% applications ???, more research is needed.

Well said. We can be pretty hard on ourselves describing how we got to such a unhealthly disadvantage, the why and how is immaterial in my opinion. What does matter is the solution, I'd be interested in hearing about the new program you've developed.

Hint......reducing bigger molecules to smaller ones which diffuse more readily. Tongue coming soon. Big Grin thanks for the post Huggy
I'll bet most can remember the " Flux Capacitor " from the movie " Back to the Future " right?. (Youngin's, go find it on YouTube.) Big Grin

Anyways, the hypothalamus is similar to Flux Capacitor in the way it can put the Gonads back in time...........aka- puberty. Only, flash forward to 2015 and the 1.21 jigowatts needed to generate time travel in 1985 is replaced by Mr. Fusion, (powered by garbage).

Our fuel needed to generate the gonads back to puberty will stem from the hypothalamus, albiet negative feedback loops via LH & FSH (lutenizing hormone & follicle stimulating hormone).

Hi Lotus

Pleased my comments have been helpful. Being able to report on how some of this incredible research works in application is at least one thing I can do to add to the conversation.

Yes, most definitely will let you know about my programme. Been playing with the components and working out the wrinkles for some time now and have just "gone live" with it. I want to make sure I have some indisputable numbers to present first, but weighed myself this morning and the numbers on the dial are nudging in the right direction! WOOHOO! From our conversations I think you can guess just how much of a biggie this is for me?

My sister has MAJOR health issues, and although the story is far too long to go into here and not NBE related. Our research seems to imply that a lot of her problems stem from an infection of the hypothalamus (viral/fungal/parasitical/bacterial, take you pick). The point being is that it has totally screwed her endocrine system and her hormones and just about every other autonomic system is totally out of whack! It really does show that the hypothalamus is the body's master regulator.

So.... if it were possible to subtly re-set the various knobs and levers on the master control panel more towards the feminine range, instead of having to fight the body and force it to our will by taking all sorts of powerful substances, we could persuade it to actually start working with us? (Can almost hear the voice of the Borg whispering in my ear! ;-)

OooOOooo.... LUV the idea of reducing molecule size! Fits in with some of the stuff we have been looking into with my sisters situation. Really interested to see what you come across with this.

Did I see you lusting after some Cadillac bootie? Gotta be a 52? Just won't ask about the little fins? ;-) Did you get anywhere with Aguaja and Maca? That does seem to come up quite regularly with growing some extra curves?

The journey continues :-)

Hi Hannah & Marcy,

Swansons price (currently) 2 for $9.99 is very reasonable. However.......I'd like it better if we knew the paeoniflorin extract amount (e.g. milligrams) per capsule. I do like what WP does at reducing inflammation (IL-6 interleukin) and improving blood cells.
