Good luck with the ffs, Eva!

Sarah you look so gorg and feminine , so you won't understand the desire of those who wish to look feminine . I can see your point though as not everyone chose this option .
Your voice sounds great, now!! QUITE fem!! I think it'd be much moreso had you not been a smoker!
TONS of good luck with your surgery, too!!

I would think facial hair removal is more important, let's say even if you could afford FFS (which many can not) what then?, you're still left with that battle. My concern is we're putting too much emphasis on looks, it's the inner beauty that makes a person.

What do we say to those who will never be able afford such surgeries?, better luck next time?, your outcome is bleak, or you'll never understand what it truly means to be female?.

Who gets to decide where the bar is set?, even worse........who keeps moving it lol.

I'm not knocking the decision to change ones shell. No, I don't feel left out either. Rolleyes I will however agree, to each their own and pray for successful outcomes.

Good luck

THANKS and CONGRATS SarahBig GrinCool May I ask who your surgeon is gonna be??? Im happy for youBig Grin

Im planning on going with BrassardWink I'll be a year in on the HRT in about 2 1/2 months and a year "full time" in about 5 months but its unofficially been longer than that for both... My psych is a real tool Im thinking, unfortunately there just aren't many to chose from around here that have any experience at this Sad

This guy did write a letter for a girl I know but our circumstances couldn't be farther apart... Ive been letting him know he's gonna have to write my letter soon... He got all pissy and actually tried to tell me "I have to see him for at least a year for that" Angry I almost got up and walked out right then and thereRolleyes I cant see how he can hold out much longer but I feel like he just thinks Im just easy $$$Sad He WILL do it soon though or Im done with him and he's gonna hear that next time I see him... Im trying to get in with my second psych right now but she has a waiting list...

Id like to get a date set up soon because Im sure Brassard is pretty busy...

Well, I can understand your feelings on that point, Sarah. You are young, attractive, and look so feminine, FFS would be a poor use of your money.

For us girls that have to go to great lengths to hide our masculine attributes, FFS is a godsend. It's easier to tuck a penis than disguise a masculine forehead, nose, or jaw. FFS is essential for us.

Clara

Clara I can agree with this to a point but really Id jump on Brassards table right now if I couldWink There's just a lot of hoops I still gotta jump through... Im thinking that by the time I recover from this surgery It will all fall into place.... I am impatient Rolleyes Its also really starting to get to me to have to live with "it", Id feel better if it was fixed.... Scary shit though!!!!

Thanks LotusSmile There is a method to this madness... Thats why I started laser and electro before I even went on HRT.... YES thats huge right there... You cant expect to really go "full time" with a beard you gotta shave and try to cover up all the timeWink

It helps to have some thick skin thats for sureWink BUT I also think a realistic look at whats possible and what you can and cant live with is essential when making a decision like this from the start.... Its HARD to not have envy and jealousy towards those that are more fortunate with genetics or resources... It sure aint cheap either!!!

I guess with me I set the bar pretty high for myself and Im fortunate to have all the $$$ I need to see it throughTongue

Ideally though our fucked up "healthcare" system would cover it all though... Please dont let any hardcore "libertarians" like I used to be hear that though, Im not in the mood for the argumentRolleyesBlush I used to think a lot like that but my thoughts on some things are changing.... Maybe its from living and seeing things from a female perspective Wink

Hey thanksBig Grin You know Im just very hard on myself I guess... I think it can be better with a little more work but Im also scared of going too far and ending up with something that just sounds weirdRolleyes

You know I do very well already and the strange thought occurred to me today... "What if I have all this done.... THEN people all of a sudden start looking at me funny and start treating me like a weirdo!!!" Rolleyes

I like to think I "pass" quite well now but I can never be totally sure and Im hoping as I get farther along I'll just think and worry about that less and less... Thats been the case so far anywayBig Grin

I guess I just dont want to look, sound or feel like the old male me at all in any way... At some point though Im just gonna have to accept things as they are and make the best of it.... Again I could really use some patience too... TIME is my friend here... 2 more years on HRT and recovery from all this Im sure is gonna be A LOT better.... It just sucks getting there I guessRolleyes

Yea MB but Im sure it took a while for her to get there though!!! Im sure after all she's gone through by now she gets it better than you thinkWink

(26-01-2015, 08:22 AM)EvaMarie Wrote: [ -> ]So I come to find out the 20mg/ml for 111.95 shipped with injection supplies is only a 5ml vial.... Quite a bit more than their 40mg/ml 10ml vial for $59.95Rolleyes I did file a claim I had to mail in with my insurance though so this outta be interesting, maybe they will cover it... It is a 2 1/2 month supply though and I have unlimited refills Cool

I havent tried it yet but it sucks so far here coming down on my E dosageSad Last one was a 10mg shot of only the Progynon Depot...
It has me wondering if this stuff is as good as Delestrogen, Ive felt just fine on it before though so it must be all in my headRolleyes

My next shot is Tuesday and I will go with a 7mg shot of the new compounded EV to try it out.... Im gonna try to stay at less than 10mg every five days for a while... With labs and then surgery coming I gotta try to keep it at a lower dosage Im thinking... I moved up the injection schedule by one day so my labs will be five days after my shot... It will be interesting to see complete lab results anyway....

My titties are actually quite full and pleasantly sore so Im reasonably sure there's still plenty of E working... Just not feeling as good overall thoughRolleyes I have been off the P for a week now though and Ive also ramped up the spiro from 100mg on high E to 150mg and now 200mg Im back to 150mg though and I will keep it there because it seems to be the sweet spot... Going off the P is always nice for a while when all that E is unopposed... Maybe just too much of a change but only one shot left before my labs... I'll probably go back on 100mg P with my next shot... Im hoping I can level it all out and do OK on my actual script for a whileRolleyes

Im really getting excited about this surgery thoughCool Its getting hard to get ready to go these days knowing things are gonna change so much soonSmile

Im really thinking Im gonna not do the trachea shave though... Its really not that bad and Im worried it could fuck up my voice... Its also less surgery all at once, maybe an easier recovery... Id also save $3950.00 as well.... IF for some reason its an issue after the neck/face lift I can always have it done later... Either with body contouring or with SRS.... OR possibly even with a CTA to raise my voice more, probably the CTA and trachea shave for the same as Dr S's high dollar version... Its still not as good as Id like it but Im gonna wait until a few months after all this when I should be fully healed before considering additional work there...

One thing is for sure Im hoping to drop 10 lbs recovering from this and keep it off... Despite the fact that I walk 10-15 miles a week and eat a reasonable diet Im getting nowhere losing weight DodgyHuh

3 hours in on my electro and Id say its about 1/3rd cleared... Its NICE to get started on that again even if she can only do a 1 hour session... Im hoping she's up for going back to two hours soon but Im just glad she's OK...

We are back to twice a week now and Im confident I'll be fully cleared before surgery... Im about 8 days out from my sixth and last laser appointment and there really isnt much to do there either Cool We'll see how it looks six months from now though... I am planning to just go with all electro from now on.... Im also considering trying Vaniqua, my laser girl said I could get a script after my last treatment... That might be all need to be DONE there... I gotta talk to my electrologist about it, she might not want me on that though for obvious reasons... From what Ive read it does work Cool

Finally Ive begun the process of trying to figure out a custom human hair piece with a lace front... I have a custom fitting kit on the way from Hair Direct, http://www.hairdirect.com/hair/default.aspx My hair is about long enough that im ready to try to make that work and ditch my wigs for goodWink Of course Im planning transplants eventually once my incisions heal but thats gonna take a LONG time to finish thereSad

Ive been taking 2000IU vitamin D, 500mg vitamin C and 5000mcg Biotin, along with a good womens multi vitamin... That along with 5% minoxydil once a day and essentially chemical castration has my hair really doing and amazing job trying to recoverSmile I figure after my surgery I'll be able to go with a shorter style with mostly my real hair from now onCoolBig Grin

Wishing you best of wishes for surgery and quick recovery . Look forward to your new look Smile

Hey thanks MBSmile ME TOO!!!Big Grin
