Fuck that 0bama dudeWinkRolleyes Im no big liberal but their ALL just totally full of shit... LESS government therefore appeals to me, I hate taxes and laws.... Thats why I live in South DakotaWink

So yesterday I booked my flights and my hotel room in Boston... Hotels aint cheap out there thats for sureRolleyes $205.00 a night plus TAX of course... Its a NICE place on Boston harbor and it has a full kitchen Cool

They seem very familiar with medical patients, she said they have been working with Dr S for a long time... She said they would get my grocerys for me (for a fee Im sure)... They also have a breakfast buffet every morning and of course room service... I figure Im not gonna want to chew much so soft food I can cook myself should be good...

Im gonna be in Boston for 10 days!!! Im planing on arriving a day early just in case of weather delays.... I decided to go with an extra night in the hospital for $700.00... So the first two nights I will be in a hospital room... I might even make it three days if Im not feeling good but two days should be fine... They said they could get me a private nurse at the hotel for $1350.00 a day... Screw that Id rather stay in the hospital, $700.00 aint that bad when you subtract $200.00 for the motel... Also meals, drinks and Im sure several nurses at my call... Its good to know if there are any problems I'll be at a hospital, cant think of a better place to be after a major surgery like that actuallyBig Grin

Thinking about it, its WAY better to be in a real hospital than Dr Z's "surgical center" Rolleyes A bit more $$$ but at least I'll at a real hospital should there be any problems....

Then Im gonna be by myself at the hotel for the next five days so I figured I might as well get a nice one... Whats a few hundred more matter anywayRolleyes All said and done its gonna cost about $52,500.00 but Im sure Im forgetting somethingRolleyes

NOT Cheap thats for sure!!! I hope its worth itRolleyes Im thinking it will be though, who knows I might even be "hot" when he's done Cool
That wonderful, Eva. In my opinion FFS is more important than SRS/GRS/GCS (I wish we could agree on a description for 'bottom surgery').

It's wise to stay in the hospital for an extra day, imo. Sorry you'll be all alone out there. Hope you can manage the very common low spirits that temporarily afflict FSS patients right after surgery.

BTW, I think you are wise to go with full forehead reconstruction instead of burr and fill. It's capable of a achieving a much more feminine contour.

If your look-alike sister is 'hot', you will be too! Tongue

BTW, I've locked in April 8th for my FSS by Facial Team. I'm really excited!

I'll interested in following your experiences in Boston.

Hey Clara I just call it a "sex change" Tongue That's next if I survive thisBlush

Yea my little sis is hot, and I do OK right now to my amazement so I think this will be very goodCool I hate to expect too much so Im trying not to, but I am getting excited Cool

I donno about post surgical blues but I was just fine following my VFS so Im not too worried about that...

This is gonna be A LOT of work all at once though and Im preparing for the worst imaginable.... Hopefully it wont be too bad though...

PAIN is my middle name!!!RolleyesSad

Congrats on your dateWink I dont mind going first, the sooner its over and healed the betterSmile

I thought this was interesting on brow reconstruction Smile

So my doc and his nurse dont usually work Fridays but she says they are really busy and she's doing a half day today...

She said Id have to call my insurance and have them send her a prior authorization form... Then she said a local compounding pharmacy will do a 40mg/5ml 5ml vial for a mere $280.00 and my insurance might even cover it Rolleyes That would cover my script for one month....

I found this place http://www.stroheckersrx.com/estradiol-v...mpound.php

They are a compounding pharmacy doing 40/mg/ml pretty cheap and I asked her to please call them and if possible have them formulate 10 or 20mg/ml in a 10ml vial but even if they cant my best option is trying their 40/mg/ml 10ml vial for $59.95 plus shipping...

She said that sounds good to her as well but she's going home for the weekend and she will call it in MondayBig Grin

Thats cheaper than my co pays can possibly be for a 10 months supply Im thinking... Im still gonna make a claim with BCBS but I can handle just paying for it if I have to... Hopefully this all gets worked out soon way to much BS hereAngry

I just made my appointment for Dr Speigels pre surgical labs and exam for 2-6... He wants a bunch of labs that will require fasting overnight... I set it up to be 4 days after my shot but Im gonna make sure its a bit lower than the 637pg/ml three days after my shot so nobody flips outRolleyes

I have 4 more shots before then and I guess Im gonna taper down again starting with the next one... Last shot was 18mg... Next one probably 12mg then 8mg then probably only 6mg before my next test... Hopefully its all good and I am interested in seeing all the resultsWink

THEN Im gonna probably go with another big shot or two before Im supposed to "stop all hormones" 2 weeks before surgery... Im planning to probably go off my AA's and P a few days to a week before but Im planning on just tapering down E and going a bit light for surgery...

For my last surgery I never stopped anything and I was just FINE, Im not gonna even bother bringing it up and arguing with them though...
Well I finally got this all taken care of, my docs nurse called in my script today with Stroheckers compounding pharmacyBig Grin

They have a great price on the 40mg/ml but they can also do EV in 10mg/ml or 20mg/ml but its more for less E for the weaker concentration Huh

I went with 20mg/ml 10ml vial for $105.00 shipped with 20 syringes and needles... They said I have to file a claim with my insurance myself and I will be trying that for sure... Thats a bit more the the $90.00 two 5ml vials of 20mg/ml Delestrogen would have cost with copays with my old insurance... Im not gonna give up easy with my new insurance but it sure seems like its gonna be a headache waiting to happen Dodgy Regardless Im just happy to have my EV on the way and It should be here before I run out of Delestrogen Cool I hope its good stuffWink

So Ive begun my taper down again with a 14mg shot, next probably 10mg then 6mg before my pre op labs on 2-6Rolleyes

Im assuming my doc has come to terms with my high tested level of E because my nurse said I was set up with refills for the next year... He certainly cant argue with my results Smile Too bad he dont know whats really going on thoughSad
So I come to find out the 20mg/ml for 111.95 shipped with injection supplies is only a 5ml vial.... Quite a bit more than their 40mg/ml 10ml vial for $59.95Rolleyes I did file a claim I had to mail in with my insurance though so this outta be interesting, maybe they will cover it... It is a 2 1/2 month supply though and I have unlimited refills Cool

I havent tried it yet but it sucks so far here coming down on my E dosageSad Last one was a 10mg shot of only the Progynon Depot...
It has me wondering if this stuff is as good as Delestrogen, Ive felt just fine on it before though so it must be all in my headRolleyes

My next shot is Tuesday and I will go with a 7mg shot of the new compounded EV to try it out.... Im gonna try to stay at less than 10mg every five days for a while... With labs and then surgery coming I gotta try to keep it at a lower dosage Im thinking... I moved up the injection schedule by one day so my labs will be five days after my shot... It will be interesting to see complete lab results anyway....

My titties are actually quite full and pleasantly sore so Im reasonably sure there's still plenty of E working... Just not feeling as good overall thoughRolleyes I have been off the P for a week now though and Ive also ramped up the spiro from 100mg on high E to 150mg and now 200mg Im back to 150mg though and I will keep it there because it seems to be the sweet spot... Going off the P is always nice for a while when all that E is unopposed... Maybe just too much of a change but only one shot left before my labs... I'll probably go back on 100mg P with my next shot... Im hoping I can level it all out and do OK on my actual script for a whileRolleyes

Im really getting excited about this surgery thoughCool Its getting hard to get ready to go these days knowing things are gonna change so much soonSmile

Im really thinking Im gonna not do the trachea shave though... Its really not that bad and Im worried it could fuck up my voice... Its also less surgery all at once, maybe an easier recovery... Id also save $3950.00 as well.... IF for some reason its an issue after the neck/face lift I can always have it done later... Either with body contouring or with SRS.... OR possibly even with a CTA to raise my voice more, probably the CTA and trachea shave for the same as Dr S's high dollar version... Its still not as good as Id like it but Im gonna wait until a few months after all this when I should be fully healed before considering additional work there...

One thing is for sure Im hoping to drop 10 lbs recovering from this and keep it off... Despite the fact that I walk 10-15 miles a week and eat a reasonable diet Im getting nowhere losing weight DodgyHuh

3 hours in on my electro and Id say its about 1/3rd cleared... Its NICE to get started on that again even if she can only do a 1 hour session... Im hoping she's up for going back to two hours soon but Im just glad she's OK...

We are back to twice a week now and Im confident I'll be fully cleared before surgery... Im about 8 days out from my sixth and last laser appointment and there really isnt much to do there either Cool We'll see how it looks six months from now though... I am planning to just go with all electro from now on.... Im also considering trying Vaniqua, my laser girl said I could get a script after my last treatment... That might be all need to be DONE there... I gotta talk to my electrologist about it, she might not want me on that though for obvious reasons... From what Ive read it does work Cool

Finally Ive begun the process of trying to figure out a custom human hair piece with a lace front... I have a custom fitting kit on the way from Hair Direct, http://www.hairdirect.com/hair/default.aspx My hair is about long enough that im ready to try to make that work and ditch my wigs for goodWink Of course Im planning transplants eventually once my incisions heal but thats gonna take a LONG time to finish thereSad

Ive been taking 2000IU vitamin D, 500mg vitamin C and 5000mcg Biotin, along with a good womens multi vitamin... That along with 5% minoxydil once a day and essentially chemical castration has my hair really doing and amazing job trying to recoverSmile I figure after my surgery I'll be able to go with a shorter style with mostly my real hair from now onCoolBig Grin

Well, I can understand your feelings on that point, Sarah. You are young, attractive, and look so feminine, FFS would be a poor use of your money.

For us girls that have to go to great lengths to hide our masculine attributes, FFS is a godsend. It's easier to tuck a penis than disguise a masculine forehead, nose, or jaw. FFS is essential for us.
