Things went OK so far with the doc today.... He did have more blood drawn... He complained my E was "too high"... I asked him WHY a girl like me would want to meet some broad vague rigid "guideline" thats the norm for an already fully feminized woman???
He couldnt answer aside from saying there are "increased risks"... Of what I asked??? Ahhh er.... "Blood clots, stroke" was all I got there...
I told him that may be true, Im not a doc and I dont know for sure but this is a high risk proposition as it is and MANY girls like me DONT make it... This isn't just some post menopausal maintenance plan, this is a "sex change"
Its working, I feel great and everything else aside from higher E level that IM injections will give is "perfect" no??? The risks of clotting are less with IM shots because they are much less stressful on the liver than the pills... He didnt have an answer for that
He said "well Im sure on a lowered more frequent dose you will test lower this time" He said "your not that high like up at 1000 or anything"... I mentioned to him that he should know that all the pregnant women he sees go MUCH higher than 1000 or whatever other number you want to just pull out and say "thats it" and they do just fine
He kinda uncomfortably mumbled "they are at risk"...
I then pointed out that the "guidelines" called for a 20mg shot every two weeks that without a doubt would cause a VERY high level that would stay high for at least 5 days then go much lower to his "normal" range....
I also told him that we just need to stick with something for a while without changing it around so much and just let it work... He did agree with that and that my risks were much lower after quitting smoking... I pointed out that quitting smoking alone is another drastic change... (SUCH A GOOD GIRL
) ...
Otherwise we just talked about my up coming surgical plans...
We'll see how the lab results look, the E SHOULD be lower after tapering down... If T is still cratered I will probably taper down the spiro to 150mg and maybe even just a 100mg pill split into 2 50mg doses daily....
I went with a 7mg shot today because Im actually doing OK on last weeks 4mg shot... I expect to feel REAL good tomorrow, I always feel best the day after my shot
Other than that I got my script for EMLA refilled and I had him switch from 200mg P pills to 100mg so I can go with 100mg daily...
So its currently 7mg EV injected IM every five days, I will try to stick with that I guess but who knows... I do know another 10mg shot on top of this 7mg would be NICE... Maybe try going with 7mg delestrogen and 5mg Progynon Depot... Just wondering how to store half of a broken open glass ampule for a week... Im thinking I could probably just prepare two syringes with 5mg each... I use filter needles to fill the syringe.. Put the sterile sheath back on there then just put it in a safe place and change out the needle to the injection needle 5 days later... Of course thats also two shots instead of one but Im not sure about mixing the two anyway....
