I'm 6'0" and 158-162 trying to learn the right mix of foods and habits to hold it steady. It DOES take careful choices (don't get me started) in what you consume but it can be done. I think it's crazy ironic that MY GID (bane that it is) has inspired me AND MY WIFE to get to healthy weights and lifestyles. It's a silver lining in my GID cloud!

Now I look back, there does seem to be a relationship, but may be for me it was not only with my GID but also now with my trying to do something to align my body with my gender.

I am 158 pounds after being very careful what I eat, BUT , I am only 5ft 8 inches and many believe I have lost too much Dodgy my goal is to lose another 5 pounds but I am holding back.
It is said "it's your face or your figure" and losing too much can make you look a little gaunt. So be careful sis, looking at all your photo's I'll put money on it that most GG's would swap places to say nothing of us TG's. If it's not broken, don't fix it Big Grin

Yeah, part of it is the GID, I admit, but part of it is trying to be able to pull back the shower curtain and look in the mirror and see the person I feel like inside...lol. Cant do much about the face...but at least I can keep the waist line under control. Or try to...haha. We weigh the same, Kari, only Im a little taller. Sigh. I wish there was a way to diet myself shorter....lol
Endo this afternoon...cant wait! They call me Sammie...tee hee. Been at 6mgs E for a month, plus 200 mgs progesterone, 1500 mgs PM, and 1050 mgs Maca daily during that time. Getting blue in the face here in the UK, please send news !

Ok...so the good news is blood pressure is great, along with all other stuff...liver, kidneys etc, and my bmi is now down to below 22, from loss of muscle mass. I am very healthy.
My T remains at 2.5 total and less than 0.1 free.
Last month E was well under 100 and now after a month at 6mgs a day is at 102. He was happy with that and said the average woman my age is below 30. He wants me to continue with the same dosage for the next three months, along with the same amount of progesterone. I want the E higher...lol. I have a new scrip so I will measure it out and see how high I can go without running out too soon. Tee hee. I still have E left, enough for about ten days at a higher dosage, so I should be able to do that easily.
Also, he thinks the T is too low to be healthy, so he wants me to start back with the same low dosage supplemental topical T he prescribed back in February that I only used for a week back then. If I do so I am thinking to begin WP again so the DHT thing is blocked. Thinking about it, anyway... :-)
At least the E is higher than before.
Oh, another little goodie arrived today. Since I may "fly pretty" to SCC, I spoke to my therapist, who has now supplied me with a formal letter identifying me as Samantha and confirming my TG status, with instructions on how I am to be treated...lol. This includes appropriate pronouns, access to appropriate gender restrooms etc. These letters are no longer necessary in most situations but I thought it might be handy, just in case. Actually, since my travel documents are all in my male name, the biggest concern my therapist voiced was whether the airport people would believe I was who I said I was and not some other person trying to use a ticket belinging to me...lol
That was my fear, too. That is, having your identity questioned. I tried to get on a United flight once with a ticket issued to my nickname which didn't match the name on my DL even though the picture matched my face pretty well. Can't imagine if I tried it en femme.

I'll be issued one of those letters, too. Illinois has laws to protect the rights of transgenders, but you are still subject to harassment by over zealous security people. The letter is good to have with you at all times.
