another consideration is the blood thinning aspect though, if I really go hard with all the fish oil/GR/tumeric and potentially fenugreek if I get a paper cut will I BLEED TO DEATH??? lol

I understand, the Japanese have an abundance of omega 3's, but they also metabolize at a different rate as opposed to non-Japanese (western people lol) I dunno how else to categorize it. Rolleyes

If blood thinning is an issue consider backing off the dose, or add in some natural sugar subs, (fresh fruit, fruit juices etc).

Ok that's cool. fresh fruit I can do.

I hate all this stuff. if only there was a magic ball that would tell us what we all need instead of all this metabolic typing BS.

maybe its a safe bet to go with ONE supplement with a good ratio of all 3 instead of dilly dallying about with epo/fish/hemp

Yup, very nice.

that one is great, (sardines & mackerel) are high in 3's, so are chia seeds. Now combined with the coconut oil you have its a great start. Just add polyphenols (green tea) and you should be able to cut back on the other supplements, oh and use the hell out of that nutra-ninja. Big Grin

All or most estrogen comes from testosterone, in the process of aromatase, which Lotus always stresses.

About prolactin and progesterone, they both lower LH. LH raises estrogen, and LH lowers prolactin and progesterone. I made the mistake of oversimplifying. Prolactin and progesterone may not lower estrogen (at least not directly). Lotus was correct when saying that estrogens are released by the egg. Definitely progesterone is released by the corpus luteum, and by a fertile egg, and estrogen is produced by the egg.

Too much PUFAs I heard raises cancer risk. A combination of healthy fats, including a small amount of PUFAs and lots of monosaturated and monounsaturated fats, is good.

Lotus, question for you. You seem very knowledgeable and a lot of this stuff is impressive but over my head haha but Ella suggested I ask my question on this thread:

Based on a woman's ovarian cycle should we take estrogen during the times when estrogen is naturally high or low? Same for progesterone... Should we take it after ovulation when progesterone is high or before when it's low?

I've read articles that support both ways and I'm confused. Thanks for any insight!
