I didn't have the rings to damped the edges, the foam ones are shite, way too wide to every direction. The silicone ones from what I know are much better. The dome edges will give discolouration which can last for months, so its good idea to use moderation on the pressure and session duration. Frequency is what does the magic along with hours put into it anyway.
But as I mentioned in a recent post, I'm five months off Noogle and only now the marks are nearly completely gone! It will take six month I think for them not to be visible at all. But keep in mind that I pushed in absolutely ridiculous hours and did a while without a gauged pump so I used too much pressure. Its better to use moderation instead and avoid long lasting discolouration as its not difficult at all.
I started with XL contoured, then switched to XXL, then the discontinued XXXL and finally the super wide cheap ones from Aliexpress, I never switched them back and forth because when I swapped to bigger ones, I had already outgrown the previous size. There is interesting point with effectiveness btw, at certain point when there's just enough air left inside, it gets really intense, works the fastest and with least discolouration or blisters forming, but once you're over that point, it will start hurting yoru boobs easier while not giving much results any more. If there's too much space for air, its also not as effective. So I think its the best to use the right size at all times, but obviously smaller ones might make it easier to aim specific spots like cleavage area or underboob and so on.
