Some recent research show Aromatase expression in homogenates from scAT was 213% higher. In other words, aromatase in subcutaneous fat is 213% higher.

The present study was carried out to evaluate the effects of virgin coconut oil (VCO) compared with copra oil, olive oil and sunflower-seed oil on the synthesis and oxidation of fatty acids and the molecular regulation of fatty acid metabolism in normal rats. Male Sprague-Dawley rats were fed the test oils at 8 % for 45 d along with a synthetic diet. Dietary supplementation of VCO decreased tissue lipid levels and reduced the activity of the enzymes involved in lipogenesis, namely acyl CoA carboxylase and fatty acid synthase (FAS) (P< 0·05). Moreover, VCO significantly (P< 0·05) reduced the de novo synthesis of fatty acids by down-regulating the mRNA expression of FAS and its transcription factor, sterol regulatory element-binding protein-1c, compared with the other oils. VCO significantly (P< 0·05) increased the mitochondrial and peroxisomal β-oxidation of fatty acids, which was evident from the increased activities of carnitine palmitoyl transferase I, acyl CoA oxidase and the enzymes involved in mitochondrial β-oxidation; this was accomplished by up-regulating the mRNA expression of PPARα and its target genes involved in fatty acid oxidation. In conclusion, the present results confirmed that supplementation of VCO has beneficial effects on lipid parameters by reducing lipogenesis and enhancing the rate of fatty acid catabolism; this effect was mediated at least in part via PPARα-dependent pathways. Thus, dietary VCO reduces the risk for CHD by beneficially modulating the synthesis and degradation of fatty acids.

IDS 89 and its subfractions on 5 alpha-reductase activity in human benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Abstract
Extract from fruit of Sabal serrulata are used in the treatment of human benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH). Therefore, it is of interest whether this phytopharmacon has any influence on the androgen metabolism in the human prostate. It was found that the extract IDS 89 of Sabal serrulata inhibited dose dependently 5 alpha-reductase activity in the epithelium and stroma of human BPH, the mean inhibition being 29% and 45%, respectively. This inhibitory effect is mainly due to the saponifiable subfraction of IDS 89 showing a mean 5 alpha-reductase inhibition of 39% and 38% in epithelium and stroma, respectively. The inhibition was dose dependent and noncompetitive. At a testosterone concentration of 580 nM as substrate for 5 alpha-reductase, the main fatty acids of the extract IDS 89 gave rise to a percentual enzyme inhibition in the epithelium and stroma as follows: 51% and 42% (lauric acid), 5% and 0% (oleic acid), 43% and 34% (myristic acid), 2% and 0% (palmitic acid), respectively. The inhibitory effect of lauric acid was noncompetitive and dose dependent up to a concentration of 0.2 nM, the maximal inhibition in the epithelium and stroma being 52% and 45%, respectively. The nonsaponifiable subfraction, consisting mainly of phytosterols, showed a mean inhibition of 5 alpha-reductase in the epithelium and stroma of 15% and 10%, respectively. Finally, the hydrophilic subfraction, containing carbohydrates, amino acids, and polysaccharides, showed no inhibitory effect. The present in vitro studies suggest that the Sabal serrulata extract IDS 89 has an inhibitory effect on 5 alpha-reductase in the epithelium and stroma of human BPH. This inhibition is mainly due to the fatty acids of the saponifiable subfraction.

More scientific proof that fatty acids helps with the binding process of estrogen receptor alpha (ER-a, the growth receptor). Specifically---palmitate (a solid unsaturated fat). I hope this is making sense for everybody. In other words- omega 3's and 6's needs to be in an NBE plan, the health benefits alone are worth looking into, another benefit is its ability to block DHT (e.g. Evening primrose oil, EPO).

GLA- gamma-Linolenic acid (like EPO evening primrose oil),

gamma-Linolenic acid does not inhibit 17 beta HSD dehydrogenase activity, which one has yet to be identified


Btw, 17beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenases (17beta-HSDs) play an important role in the regulation of steroid hormones, such as estrogens and androgens.

Anti-androgenic activity of fatty acids.

In this study, we show that 5alpha-reductase derived from rat fresh liver was inhibited by certain aliphatic free fatty acids. Adding another option for CT (cold thermogenesis) NBE, actually it's a blend of hot/cold therapy. Call it SPA BOOBs, this one you do in the shower as follows:

1-2 cups of crushed ice (per breast) for cupping method
1-2 ice packs.


Alternate hot water from the shower heating up the breasts, (1-2 minutes), face back to the shower and apply cup full of shredded ice, start in a clockwise position using the cup (1-2 minutes), alternate back to hot water heating breasts after completing the clock method, (15-20 seconds per 15 min. clock position), massage massge massage while completing this step, lol. Ultimately, a thermogenesis is taking place. Bigger breasts might see breasts roundness almost immediately, (did for me lol).


The CT therapy while noogling works, although I might suggest chilling the domes first. After using crushed ice inside the domes I pumped w/o ice, immediately the domes steamed up, exactly what I was hoping for, suggesting thermogenesis.

Another note: I see alternating an ice pack with warm compress for those not pumping could replace CT pumping. Use massage during and after to keep the blood flowing, the ice should raise heart rate for hormone release and activation of fat cells (BAT- brown adipose tissue).

Anyways lol. I'm getting ahead of myself lol, I'll have to break other related info over a couple of posts. Though some keys points are icing breasts while doing isometrics, try a cold version of pumping (crushed ice insides the domes), and do isometrics while pumping for fat burn.

The best part of this cold therapy (cold thermogenesis) is the low cost of ice water lol . And there's plenty of diy versions of ice packs.


Another version of thermogenesis happens when we sleep, natural melatonin plays a part of this. Adding melatonin at night (because we lose the natural production over time) with MSM looks very interesting, more info to follow: Big Grin

Haha that is scary cool Boobi, this stuff drives you to new ideas and understanding for sure. Abstract
Non-exercise activity thermogenesis (NEAT) is the energy expended that is not from sleeping, eating or sports-like exercise. It ranges from the energy expended walking to work, typing, performing yard work, undertaking agricultural tasks and fidgeting. NEAT can be measured by one of two approaches. The first approach is to measure or estimate total NEAT. Here, total daily energy expenditure is measured and from it is subtracted BMR + thermic effect of food. The second is the factoral approach whereby the components of NEAT are quantified and total NEAT calculated by summing these components. The amount of NEAT that human subjects perform represents the product of the amount and types of physical activities and the thermogenic cost of each activity. The factors that affect the NEAT of a human subject are readily divisible into biological factors, such as weight, gender and body composition, and environmental factors, such as occupation or dwelling within a 'concrete jungle'. The combined impact of these factors explains the substantial variance in human NEAT. The variability in NEAT might be viewed as random but human data contradict this perception. It appears that changes in NEAT subtly accompany experimentally-induced changes in energy balance and are important in the physiology of weight change. NEAT and sedentariness may thus be important in obesity. It then becomes intriguing to dissect mechanistic studies that delineate how NEAT is regulated by neural, peripheral and humoral factors. All seem effective imo, the cold therapy noogling was tricky though, made the boobs pop BlushRolleyes. Seriously though, my left breast is (was) about 1/4in to 1/2in behind the right, to my surprise their equal (even) @ 14in each after 3 treatments, denoting no lose in gain, so far I like what it does.

Personally the shower method gets the quickest thermogenesis reaction.

Also, riboflavin is a co-factor of many oxido- reductases, while testosterone 5a-reductase utilizes the pyridine nucleotide, NADPH, to reduce testosterone. It is interesting that the co-factor for flavin enzymes, riboflavin, inhibits pyridine linked enzyme reaction.

Hey Lotus, this thermo-stuff is really cool i did hot and cold showers awhile ago but i think i kinda broke down the ''boiler'' system...its still constantly fails so after reading this I want to start doing it again with hot shower and ice-packs... but how many minutes do you take hot and how long do you take cold? hope youll take warm a bit longer..lol.

I think 1-2 minutes hot application followed by 1-2 of ice (cold thermogenesis, CT). The quadrant (or clockwise ) technique works fast. Or try hot water first followed by a complete sweep of ice around the breast, though stopping at 1-2 per pole position. I'll tell what though, I think it jumped started a reaction that even made my hair stand on end lol. But definitely the boobs felt great. If you look at the web info on those products they state it helps relieves breast engorgement, mastitis and clogged ducts. (Perfect, a prolactin boost too lol).

Oh wow thats awesome a prolactin boost too..its that ive already showered otherwise i would try it out again right now....cant wait..this will be fun ha ha..i did always felt energized afterwards i remember...
