Doodlebug,
To a lesser degree, I do agree with you, and as the quality of the posts has declined so has my participation. I don't take quite as strong offense at the sexual/borderline pornographic posts because I probably don't try to read them. There are certain posters whose topics generally contribute nothing to my life so I don't read their posts. I also tend to avoid the posts of folks who feel the need to create a new top post every few minutes. As others have mentioned, we had a period of time when there was a lot of focus on nipple orgasm. I eventually learned to avoid those as well, and I avoid any posts from the person who seems to be the leader on that particular obsession.
I'm in agreement with Sfem, JustEmily, and the others who do not post very often. I keep waiting for things to change, but I am growing impatient and feel as though it may be a long wait. Then again, I also grow tired of the young ones who come here vacillating because they still live at home with the 'rents, ask for advice, then ignore it, say they're definitely going to use this other program that everyone has advised against, then come back and ask what people know about some other really expensive product that nobody has heard of, but the ingredients seem inferior and over-priced, etc., etc., ad infinitum.
There are several folks who seem to have left this forum or even left the site, and I miss their contributions even if some of them were like broken records harping about the same things. I do miss the things you miss and which seem to be lacking at this time. Oddly, the poorly-written, frequently-misspelled, badly-reasoned posts tend to come from many of the contributors whose posts tend to be of a more prurient nature.
I will definitely miss the quality of your posts, but I understand your desire to leave. Good luck in your journey.
