Magnesium does actually benefit hormones, meaning magnesium increases the conversion from TT (total testosterone) to free T........thus increasing the likelihood of aromatase (see the connection?).
Additionally, Mg2 (magnesium) improves the HPA (hypothalamic pituitary axis).....improves hormone production, mostly from what I see, magnesium has the ability to lower stress (anxiety) and improve thyroid function.......could it beneficial over synthroid?, dunno yet, but you know I'm on the crab (on the hunt for more info lol). :blush: ;)
