I did doubt the terrorist link initially - after all why not a shopping centre (mall) if you were going to do something to make a statement. A terrible, terrible atrocity but even with gun control a determined person would a way to kill, injure and maim.

A solution might be to allow the guns but not the bullets (would that cover the second amendment? not really up on the US constitution), or just restrict the magazine size which would seem a more obvious solution given most mass shootings which have made the news over here have involved high capacity rifles.

Again a terrible terrible event butreally good to see the largely positive reaction to it across the US (from what coverage we have in the UK - its all EU referendum at the moment)
