Hi. I agree. Your thread is your thread. Do as you wish with it. My only comment would be to remember the spirit and purpose of this website. I understand why someone would not prefer to carry a friend from Breast Nexus on over to Facebook. I know I wouldn't, but then, I dropped out of Facebook a long time ago. I lost a good computer thanks to bugs being passed around there. Besides it being a generally useless place.
If a friend you made here is someone you want to talk with regularly, why not use the messaging service here? Or the e-mail? If that bothers you, set up a separate e-mail account just for this purpose, and if someone turns out to be not so trustworthy, you can just delete the e-mail account.
One last thing. Every profile here has a place for a Bio. It's a good place to put things like musical interests, hobbies, other likes, and even dislikes. Sadly, few people use it, and even fewer people look at it to see who they're talking or replying to.

Let's not condemn Doodlebug for an opinion offered on one thread. I tend to think he just became frustrated with the general behavior going on here in the biological males forum. I have been disgusted as well. A lot of useless tripe. I hope it doesn't spread to the other forums in here. And I hope the new members and prospective new members don't get the impression that this is the "normal" conduct here. Use your common sense, and be curious but courteous. there can be no self-policing if there is no standard of decency. We're all quite anonymous on this big old internet, but we can still make asses out of ourselves as sure as we do it in real life, and people here will call you on it faster than they would to your face. There's a lot to be gained and learned here if we treat each other with a modicum of respect. OK? Patti
