I apologize for this, I wasn't trying to make it seem competitive. I know things go the way they go.
I am a runner, so that's where my mind goes, and I was just trying to apply a metaphor explaining the differences between positive and negative observations and their effect on the end result. There is probably a better one I could have used, but that's not me.
