What are some thing we can use to help pump and maintain the positive energy? I have a strong feeling that NBE, as with so many other things, can't help but benefit from keeping a positive outlook, with constant reinforcement. This goes into the mental "

I'm sure the experienced gents and ladies will have worlds to speak on exactly this subject. I know I'll be taking the advice to heart and probably apply a good deal of it, and I really want this to become a resource for future hopefuls.

I don't consider myself as being particularly experienced or have worlds to say about this subject but I thought I would put in my two cents.

I think the picture page forum is a good place to receive positive reinforcement and encouragement. I think this is because our NBE progress is exclusively determined by appearance. I couldn't imagine trying to comment on other's progress solely by tape measurement numbers. Others have the benefit of more easily noticing changes between intervals of our breasts that we ourselves may not observe. I think the one catch though is users have to be committed with posting new pictures every so often.

My list of advice for new hopefuls would be:

  1. Be patient with NBE and have realistic expectations.
  2. Everybody grows at their own rate. Try not to compare your growth too much with others.
  3. Don't overload on herbs. It takes time not huge quantities of herbs to grow breasts.
  4. Post your NBE pictures on a consistent basis so you can get a second opinion on your growth.
  5. Think carefully before embarking on NBE. NBE can significantally affect your relationship with others (especially your significant other if you have one), reproduction/sexual capabilities, your moods and mental outlook, your appearance, etc.

On that, it seems to me that thanks to gravity (and possibly the male rib cage), the number doesn't change anywhere near as quickly as the shape does. I've changed by only about half an inch over the last 3 months, but compared to how they've changed in depth and roundness this is hard to believe.

Looks good to me!

I agree. I also think it's easy to make measuring errors when trying to hold the tape measure at the exact same spot as the previous time. Even if no errors are made, there's no subjectivity with numbers like there is with pictures. For example, when you say you've gained half an inch, how can we possibly know otherwise?

It's not like we can go over to your house and measure you ourselves. Big Grin

This is "dont feel bad" advice. Not quite the same as "feel good" advice. This thread is intended for positive outlooks. Acknowledging minor victories to feel better about yourself.

If you're running in a race and you see the person in front of you slow down, what do you do? Your brain sees it, and you get a subconcious second wind. Even if you were tired before, you aren't anymore because all you can think about is 'I'm gonna pass him right now'. You don't really go any faster, but you feel faster and you feel better about yourself. Positive perspective grants positive results.

If someone starts passing you, you get a similar subconcious response, but instead of 'I'm gonna pass him', a positive, you get 'I'm not gonna let him pass me', a negative. This time you actually do run faster, but in order to keep yourself from getting passed you run so much harder and faster that you exhaust yourself and have to stop, so you get passed anyway. Negative perspective, negative result.

I think whether it's NBE, physical fitness or losing weight, it's important for people to have realistic expectations of what's attainable in order to be able to appreciate their minor victories. Without this foundation I think it's unlikely to be able to encourage those who have grand and overblown dreams of growing breasts or achieving any other goal. I think once people are grounded in reality in regards to NBE they're much more receptive to "feel good" advice.

I do think advising people to post their pictures is a good opportunity to receive support and encouragement. In my opinion, people want to know whether they're making progress or whether they're stalling and need to change something.

Maybe I'm off-base with this. I think a recent experience I had regarding this was when I posted my 3 months pictures. I asked about not seeing progress and sfem responded by sharing his experience of going several months of not seeing any visible changes. Even though his advice would be more of the "don't feel bad" category, it's reassuring to know someone can relate to my concerns.
I think Flamesabers approach on this is much more practical and realistic.
There is nothing competitive in this, we aren't in races with anyone, you can't make boobs grow through willpower.

All any of us can do is share experiences, make suggestions as to what might help and encourage each other when things seem to slow down.

That IS being positive.
I apologize for this, I wasn't trying to make it seem competitive. I know things go the way they go.

I am a runner, so that's where my mind goes, and I was just trying to apply a metaphor explaining the differences between positive and negative observations and their effect on the end result. There is probably a better one I could have used, but that's not me.

So there's little hope of matching Dolly Parton's figure? Or looking like Shania Twain or Angelina Jolie? I guess there isn't enough plastic in the world for surgeons to help me accomplish either.

(This was intended to be humorous.)

No probs, but personally I don't have a competitive bone in my body and the whole concept of sport ( any sport) I find completely incomprehensible, so its somewhat lost on me Big Grin
