Wow!!

The thing that never fails to amaze me about this website is the amount of time and effort that some folk give to helping others during tricky spells. It is awesome.

In general, this episode whilst extremely difficult to rationalise has probably been a good thing for me really. Several issues were wound up in it which I would have had to deal with at some stage . It is almost certainly better to have tackled them head on now rather than meeting up with them unprepared further along the journey.

The two feature length productions which this thread prompted have been particularly helpful and are a valuable resource for those of us following a bit further back on the trail. Even though we are all on slightly different paths, there is just so much common ground and so many experiences and difficulties which we all share.

This point about bearing in mind that I am now in a much better place than I was before recognising the GD and beginning to do something about it, is THE ONE for me at the moment. It really doesn’t matter where this all ends up, it is without doubt the only path I have available and discovering the cause of the underlying unease in my life has been the best thing ever. (I still want to be a princess really, if I possibly can!!!).

Life begins at 57 some say - well I do anyway!!.

The other thing this episode has bought out is the need to keep a diary and to keep photographs as a record of the journey. I know everyone says 'keep pictures' but up till now I haven't specifically bothered and I think this was a mistake. E for effort - must try harder!!!
