To clarify my first post,I meant try 1g/day of the PM, like you said you were going to, and is also the manufacturer's recommendation. I mentioned about your wife being on board, because the medical difficulties she is dealing with (I would like to add my sincere wishes for a fully successful treatment as well) may well make her very afraid of what may happen to you medically, in addition to being possibly apprehensive about the actual changes. In other words, her plate is probably full enough. I do hope things go well for you both.
