My Personal Program WIP

Hi, long time lurker first time poster.

I'm returning to NBE after a hiatus currently UK 56B. Last time round my growth stopped and I think I need to focus on increasing growth hormone as I'm now in my early thirties and putting weight on in the wrong places.

Below is the plain I am thinking of restarting with
Like most things in my life I have to be told to keep it simple studpid, this I entrust to the wonderful community Smile" alt="Smile" title="Smile">



Mediterranean ketogenic diet Fast for 12 hours followed by afternoon  exercise
to try and boost growth hormone.

Cycle 5 days on and weekends off

Wake 6AM
- 8am
  + multivitamen - maybe add L-Lysine ?
  + Evening Primrose, flaxseed, Omega-3 ( now or later in the day might upset fasting )

  - Detox Tea
    + Green Tea (Matcha concentrate)
    + Dandelion root
    + Milk thistle

- 10am
  - Green Tea Capsule
  - Detox Tea again

- Noon
  + White Peony Root (Paeonia lactiflora)
  + Genistein (Soy Complex)
  + Coconut oil

- Afternoon (4pm)
  + Pueraria Mirifica 1000mg
  + Rhodiola Rosea (optional for fatigue)

- Evening (8pm) 
  + Red Clover
  + Skullcap or Reishi-reishi mushrooms or Pygeum  (probably skip)

- Night (10pm ish)
  - CHILL tea
    + hops
    + rooibos
    + sage

  - Progesterone Cream

Do we see any issues ?

Should I consider any of the following ?
- Fenugreek - havn't used before but it is popular ?
- Nettle root - not sure if it fits and if so when to take it ?
- Licorice root - used extensively last time but some of the notes by lotus (sorry don't have the source to hand) seem to make out that it mimics activity but isn't actually that useful. Are people still using it in their programs ?


Ps would appreciate any links to UK suppliers for White Peony Root and Progesterone Cream ?

Your plan looks good to me.
I would move the reishi to 10am. you want it to start killing off the DHT early in the day. read this thread

Hi Memsys,

as Happyme said, you should take RR in the morning because T levels are highest there.

I advise taking E every 4 hours like the ovaries produce it.

Substitute genistein for fenugreek 3g, your libido will thank you.

You can take easily 2g of PM.

If you take WP you don't need LR.

Otherwise, your program looks fine.

Wake 6AM

- Evening (8-10pm)

- CHILL tea
+ hops
+ rooibos
+ sage

- Progesterone Cream

Dropping licorice root as I found the Lotus note that it may harm aromatase.

Do I need to take RR / Pygeum to curb DHT as I have green tea as AA and WP already ?

Just to clarify the swap of Genistein for Fenugreek is because we feel two pro-aromatase herbs are overkill/competing or that is Genistein is itself (or composition) particularly bad for libido.

I was taking it last time but found it no worse than PM ?

Don't take 2g PM at once. Spread it to 0.5g every 4 hours.

Avoid peak testosterone on wake, flattens by 4pm

+ Keto-Mediterranean Meal
+ Fenugreek - 3g (blood sugar)

***** Dessert (8pm)
+ Pueraria Mirifica 1g

***** Midnight
+ Pueraria Mirifica 1g
+ Progesterone Cream - 20mg
+ Red Clover (I have some left over, not sure it is need or synergies)



Any idea what dose of Green Tea EGCG polyphenols is desirable ?

I have scoured through lotus's posts but can't find even a rough figure.

Thanks for heads up

doing a bit of rough maths that should be a dosage of :
338 mg of EGCG per day = about 4g of good loose green tea (80mg EGCG per gram)

Update one week on [NBE Sunday-Thursday - rest - Friday and Saturday]

The 24hr intermittent fasting and giving up coffee got challenging by Thursday, I'm glad to have a rest I was also starting to feel a little intolerant to one or a combination of the ingredients above, my money is on dandelion root or the peony root tincture.

The program clearly works but I barely felt anything on/by Thursday. I have taken photos to compare progress after having a days break but am not sure if I am comfortable sharing them as I still have quiet a bit of hair ?

Maze your correct about fenugreek and libido, whilst I am of course very chilled by the NBE program having a much lower than normal libido there is a little spark sometime after the fenugreek that seems to build up the more I take.

A few questions :

What is the minimum dose of dandelion tea and peony root tincture that we feel is effective and when should I take it ?

( it might not be so sickening if I'm not taking it at noon on an empty stomach)

- currently brewing 15g of dandelion root and 6ml of peony root tincture into 500ml tea that I start sipping from 10 am to 2pm -

Neither have instruction on their products. I understand that the peony root tincture needs to be taken when T is higher for the aromotase to be effective, perhaps I could take the tincture directly in the morning and the dandelion root with food or hidden in a coffee etc.


Is Progesterone cream in contradiction with Pueraria Mirifica if I'm taking both before bed, its hard to tell but I don't get the usual signs (ache) after the midnight PM dose ?
should I move it to noon ?
