Tanner Stages

#1

OK, I cannot figure out where I am in the Tanner Stages.

I have read through the charts an don't seem to be following the same course, or perhaps it is just going very slowly. Obviously it is different for every person.

I have been working on my breasts for about 10 years. I did about 7 cycles of estradiol (3 months on, 2 months off) over a couple of years. In the last year and a half, I have been on fenugreek with only saw palmetto. They have been growing steadily.

Obviously I have been on no hurry.

My breasts are now at 44", with a 39" under bust, filling a B or sometimes C bra.

Some information on my breasts:

I started with large pecs and decided to try for full breasts.  I played with herbs, but finally got some estradiol from my doctor. I cycled this for a couple of years at 3 months on and 2 months off.  At some point, on the E I believe, I did get those hard knobs under the nipples, but it didn't seem to last long. My nipples have always been sensitive, but have become even more so as has the entire breast. At this point, the nipples and aerola are sensitive and feel softer, more moist lately. The areola have not gotten much bigger, but then I had read on another site that it usually doesn't happen to men over 60 developing their breasts. The nipples seem to be blending a little more into the areola, but the areola is not raised. The Montgomery glands seem to be coming out more. Overall, my breasts jiggle and though I try to wear a bra as munch as possible, I should probably be wearing all of the time. The breasts are pretty firm. My weight has not changed much and with the "arms over the head" test, I am sure this is actual breast tissue.

I guess the reason that I am looking for a Tanner stage is to try to predict what will happen with the nipples and areola. I am wondering if they will become bigger and more feminine.  I have seen this happen even on guys who took herbs and never took hormones.  Though I realize that my development methods have not been the usually recommended, I am overall very happy with the progress and shape.

Any word of advice from those who have more experience and knowledge would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Joey

I think you're at stage 3, follow sfem's (still the best way) to calculate actual cup size. From sfem's guide you can easily track breast growth. For reference my cup size is 15 inches (an H cup), when I started using sfem's guide I was 9.5 inches,

Stage 3: Breast tissue palpable outside areola; no areolar development

----------
Measure the size of your boob (yes, just one boob). Place the tape horizontally and measure from the edge of your sideboob where it meets the chest wall under and in front of your armpit, to where the boob flesh ends at the chest wall near the middle of your chest in front. The ratio of band size to boob size gives a cup size as follows:
Ratio | Cup Size
  4.6  |    A
  4.3  |    B
  4.1  |    C
  3.9  |    D
e.g. I measure 9" of boobage. On my 38" band, my ratio is 4.22 (38/9) and my proposed chart suggests my cup will be between B and C, closer to B than C. My best fits are B cup bras, although some C cup bras fit me too. I can't get into an A anymore. The ratios above are rounded to a single digit of precision so your mileage may vary.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for your answer! I will look over the stage 3 more carefully.

I don;t know what you mean by "sfem", but I think that you and I are the same - 38 band with a 9" boob. I have been at B for quite a while, but recently advance to a C in some bras.

sfem is a BN member, though hasn't been active for some years. Like I said, it's the best cup measuring tool created.

I was 9.5 inches in 2013. 7 years later I'm 15.5 inches (right) and 15.0 (left). My band size is 39.5...but I go with 40.0.

I have a 9 inch difference between my band size and bust size. Which works out to be an H cup or (49 inch bust). My areola size is 9mm or 3.5 inches.

When I started measuring (2012) I was 8 inches roughly a B cup.

Here's a couple of pics from earlier this year I shared, I'll leave them up for a few days here.

WOW!! Your breasts are just beautiful!
Did your areola grow naturally like that or did you do something to help them along?

Hey there Joey, thank you for the nice words.

I'm trying to locate a pre NBE/HRT photo I have from about 20 years ago, it'll show I had no moobs or areola development.

Enough about me, I'm here for you, or others interested in your thread. I did help my areolas along. I started with snake bite kits, they don't last long and are too harsh on nipples and areolas. I believe I also lost nipple sensitivity for about a year using snake bites.

Alternatively, one could use nipple suckers,
Like for example, these:
https://www.amazon.com/Size-Matters-AC191-MAXtwist-Suckers/dp/B0055PFRVC

The premise here is bringing blood to the surface area of the areola. It'll take time to develop, up to a year maybe. Start at 1.5 inches nipple suckers and go larger as does the areola…

But I use L-tyrosine because of how it stimulates the nipple. Furthermore, PDE inhibitors (like sildenafil-generic viagra), forskolin, and even aloe vera stimulate the nipple. But ideally, use any of these combinations while training areolas.

Nitric Oxide May Mediate Nipple Erection
https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full...111.014951

NO (nitric oxide) is an ideal messenger molecule and has a low molecular weight and short half‐life, which easily diffuses across membranes independent of receptors. It is synthesized from l ‐arginine by NOS. NOS has 3 subtypes: eNOS, nNOS, and iNOS (Moncada et al, 1991; Knowles and Moncada, 1994; Lowenstein et al, 1994; Xu and Liu, 1998; Çekmen et al, 2000).

increases in breast‐skin blood flow, as observed via VIP and CGRP injections (Eriksson et al, 1996b).

Have fun and good luck.
