COVID-19 Coronavirus ARDS Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome

#11

Just read on German news page that sales of sex toys and condoms have increased dramatically.
WHAT is wrong with these people?
Are they thinking when I'm in bed with a fever, full of mucus and gasping for breath, that will be a good time to get a toy out.
Who monitors toy sales? What kind of job is that.

Am expecting batteries will soon be in short supply.

The worldwide move to self isolation (in many places, nearly forced) is what is helping to drive these stats - it's not the sick that are whipping out the toys.

One stat in particular, which would be hard to quantify, but easy to assume is that masturbation is dramatically increasing as a preferred sexual activity (it's funny to think that that number could possibly go any higher than it already is, but no doubt it is).

Pornhub traffic stats are a good gauge of this. Traffic and use is increasing worldwide.

Speaking of batteries, I've often noticed (when trying to buy them) through many a disaster (blackouts, hurricanes, terrorist attacks, etc.) that it's probably a very good thing that vibrators and flashlights do NOT depend on the same size battery!

Really? Have never owned one so wouldn't know you're a mine of information not going to ask how you know about vibrator-flashlight single cell incompatibility issues

Never owned a flashlight? They come quite in handy in the dark.

Flashlight (the thing that illuminates one's way in the dark - not the thing some stick their D-icks into)! Wink

okay another valuable piece of information I didn't know or understand I would have thought inserting your dick into a flashlight would really hurt?
So flashlight batteries are important especially to find the toy batteries in the dark. Suppose you could use the vibrator in the dark too as an improvised sonar device,  but may injure granny on her way to the bathroom.

The majority in self-isolation are not sick, they stay isolated to avoid getting sick. I have heard many predictions that in 9-10 months there will be global baby boom, because with little else to do, people will do it like rabbits. And for those without a relationship, well, toys are excellent aiding to self-pleasure.

I'm sure some of them glow in the dark, so you're good.

Exactly my point. In this day and age, the increase in masturbatory self pleasure is likely the greater trajectory than any baby boom of days of old, as many of the randy with little else to do will still be disinclined to procreate in the current environment we find ourselves in.
