Dark Skin Appearing

#1

I was very surprised last night when I discovered a very defined dark coloration at the bottom (back) of my penis. Upon closer inspection I noticed it started from just short of the tip, and stretched all the way back and over my testes. And in the middle of this very dark skin is the absolute outline of a complete vagina. I have never seen this before but I know it has not been there last year. Wish I can post a picture here.

Does anyone have information about this? Could it become a problem?

Cant help directly, but I’ve seen this in photos over the years, and have often wondered why it happens, so will be interested in the replies to this question.

Hi Bev,

It happened to me after several months of Pueraria Mirifica as well. The anatomical structure which is affected by this darkening is called raphe penis, and it is a place where urogenital folds fused during the prenatal development. It is a normal effect of estrogenic stimulation in natal males, and it happens during MtF hormonal replacement therapy.

People ask about this from time to time in various discussion boards. Here are some references:

Hi E,

Thanks so much for the links, especially the last one. So informative. I get it now. Seems like it's nothing to worry about then.
