My VA doctors agreed today that they would put me on estradiol valerate injections instead of the Climara patches that I have been using. The patches are difficult to keep on, cause a rash, and are annoying in general. They doubled my spironolactone and are even giving me syringes to inject the estradiol. I am so thankful I served in the Marine Corps way back when and can attest that my VA takes good care of me and my fellow veterans. I go next week to the local clinic where they will train me to do the injections for myself.

Who would have thought it just two years ago? We are moving ahead in this country with small steps. Now if they would just approve SRS.

One small step for me, one giant step for transgender. Tongue
