Astaxanthin dosage

#1

Sorry if this querry has been already answered. But does anybody know, what is the optimal dosage for astaxanthin as an antiandrogen in NBE?

I've been able to get 4 mg formulation from Dr. Bosshammer Swiss Pharma...

This video makes a lot of sense to me:

He calls for 2-4 mg/day. I switched from 8 mg/day to 3 mg/day after watching that. There are some questions about bioavailability of different brands, but I do generally like the "less is more" approach.

so I am confused on this one, after reading that is good for dht, like anything else now adays, its divided into two camps, it reduces it and it raises it.. which to believe?

I am fully aware that everyone is different and it affects everyone differently, but with all the misinformation that floats over the internet it leaves one to wonder Huh who to believe..

one example:

someone in a reply on that site mentioned the combo of this and saw palmetto raised testosterone. Sad

also, according to wiki< red krill contains this chemical?

I know too well that translating anecdotal information or even laboratory results into practice can be quite difficult, but I can tell that since I begun to take 8 mg of astaxanthine a day, my libido went south so I returned to 4 mg a day.

But I may be just the strong responder to anything antiandrogenic and estrogenic. Few years ago I had a quite strong reaction to sage tea which does contain some phytoestrogenic compound, but it is hardly used for anything more that menopausal hot flushes Tongue

Anyway, thanks everyone for the great input!
