Have you any advice on using a paraben-free estrogen cream?

I apologize if this question is addressed elsewhere -- I just couldn't find it.

I don't believe there's parabens are in oestrogel, that's the synthetic transdermal gel if that's what you meant.


The only one I'm familiar with is the mountain herb brand, it's not cheap. But it's paraben and fragrance free, it's a light yellow cream, good stuff. It's pretty weak though and only delivering E1.

Hi POM, conversion is the synthesis of free testosterone to estrogen, E2 estradiol through the testosterone pathway as shown in the diagrams, so yes it promotes. DHEA can also convert through the androstenedione pathway to E1 estrone, another estrogen (weaker than E1, as seen in post menopause).

Even though genistein promotes aromatase its something that needs careful consideration. I've found conflicting evidence promoting Breast cancer.

I think the safer approach for aromatase, and that's adding fatty acids found in our daily diet of omega 3 and 6's, ALA's, and WP too. Now there's a class of anabolic steroids that causes aromatase buts it's just to dangerous. Ultimately the main issue or obstacle is DHT, it non-aromatizble, period!!! if DHT was eliminated you could count on C's and D's lol, (j/k) you get the picture.

So I see a possible correlation with inflammation (systemic, chronic) and phytoestrogens (maybe more so in PM). Now this could vary according to your inflammatory response, meaning what's in your daily diet.

So inflammation may also reduce the biosynthesis of albumin, the part of blood plasma that carries the more bio-active hormones that can be influenced to become active, unlike SHBG-sex hormone binding globulin.

Sorry if this is out there, I don't think this has been addressed yet, when you get time try and look over this link from Wikipedia, it's very informative. There's a ton of other info out there about this so other sites might explain it better. And seriously look into the ratio of omega 3's to omega 6's, it should favor more 3's, that should help in reducing immflamation. You might see some better gains once inflammation is reduced.

that's what i was thinking as well, ordered x3 of the Swansons (would have ordered 4 if the shipping wasn't $12....)
