What do you think about this product: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005QLTN4M/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
Not sure about the dosage.
Hi Peggy,
I've read that Licorice shouldn't be taken more then 7 days in a row, can you please post your info on the time frame?
Sammie and I have had this discussion about LR not containing DGL-or (deglycyrrhizinated licorice) before and which one is more beneficial for NBE. From what I've read DGL licorice root has less side effects. So for the amazon product which one is better than the next is a good question, I'd try the extract the next time I'd order tbh. I still use regular LR and at first it was really strong (still have 1/2 left). As with most of NBE products IMO, there's a breaking in period from supplements and I've adjusted to it. I would suggest that the same would apply here is that you let your body adjust at small doses until you feel comfortable with your response as then to adjust your dose.

But did you know what else LR also contains, check out these listed ingredients,
Some of the chemical constituents in Licorice include the saponin glycyrrhizic acid (the chief active ingredient that is fifty times sweeter than sugar cane with cortisone-like effects), plant sterols, other sugars (glucose, mannose, sucrose), starch, resin, a trace of tannin, essential oil, amino acids, flavonoids, isoflavonoids, coumarins, lignin, mannitol, phenol, quercetin, salicylic acid, thymol, calcium, choline, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium selenium, silicon, zinc, beta-carotene, B-vitamins and vitamin C.
I've remember seeing that about LR being used during follicular and even used with peony, but sorry, I never followed up on it as of yet, so I couldn't be much help to ya on that part.
