Starting PM: Dosage suggestion?

I say easier my question. PM capsule+PM cream+Progesterone cream+Maca and etc.. What doseage should i take these together? When i use SP,i don't need less PM?Sohuld i take more PM cream than capsule, that's more effective?

Most people start on 500 mg of PM and build up over a few weeks to 2000 mg of PM per day. Usually, this means taking a single 500 mg capsule four times a day. Some take 2 capsules in the morning, and one with lunch and one with supper. Some take 2 capsules twice a day, spaced roughly 12 hours apart.

Most don't seem to think progesterone cream is needed, but the few who use it follow the instructions on the jar or tube which is usually to use between 1/4 and 1/2 of a teaspoon once or twice a day. This would be about 1 or 2 mL since a teaspoon is about 5 mL.

I'm not sure if anyone can really answer about maca and PM cream, but most seem to feel PM needs to make a double pass through the liver to be effective, and this only happens when ingested as opposed to being topically applied.

SP probably will not decrease the dose of PM needed. There is also a lot of confusion as to what SP does and how it does it. It might be a waste of money or it might help. It depends who you ask.

Maca, if you use it, just follow the instructions on the label. I'm not sure more is better. It doesn't seem to do anything at all for me. It is allegedly an aphrodisiac, but does nothing for me. It supposedly causes the butt to enlarge and fat to deposit on the hips. That seems like an odd effect for something that is supposed to enhance the male sex drive. Most seem to feel PM as really all a person needs.

Thank you for the information. I won't use Maca or Sp yet. I think that: I'll lubricated oil with capsule PM on my skin. And we'll see,how does it work.

What is your results? Breast?Skin?Mental change? Can you see something already?
Do you gained weight? How can i gain weight?

It took me 3 months to go from 500 mg/day to 2000 mg/day. PM seems to upset my stomach. My breasts feel a little fuller, and my left breast is about a cup size larger than my right one. My nipples seem to be very sensitive some days and have no sensitivity on others. I have not yet had the "budding" people talk about where a hard knot or lump forms behind the nipple, but the areolae do feel tight at times. I'm not sure I've had any mental effects, but then many people claim they only become aware of the mental effects if they go off PM for a little while which seems to cause a change in mood (they become irritable and anxious). My desire to crossdress, watch porn or be sexual is intermittent, but then it was that way before I started PM so in that respect I haven't really noticed a change. Because of low testosterone that the doctors refuse to recognize or treat, I haven't had an erection since 2005 so I can't speak to whether PM has affected my erections or sex life negatively. In recent weeks, since finally getting to 2000 mg of PM, my level of sexual desire may have increased slightly, but as I've said, my sex drive is very inconsistent and has been since 2005. I think it is too soon to tell if PM has done anything for my skin or hair.

I've actually lost a little weight (5 kg), but then I can afford to lose another 45 kg and still be near the upper end of the healthy weight range for my height. However, that slight weight loss has made a huge difference in how my pants fit so I think there has also been some re-distribution of body fat to other locations like the chest.

If you want to gain weight, eat lots of carbohydrates, especially things like white bread, pastries, and candy, though it isn't exactly healthy. Grain, especially wheat, corn, and white rice, will cause weight gain. Eating more fat, especially animal fats, will also contribute to weight gain, but the carbohydrates are really the key. Then again, depending on your personal metabolism, it may be very difficult to gain weight no matter what you do.

Thank you. I'm curious about the results. Big Grin I'll try carbohydrates and without meal to eat. It is possible, that is the problem.

While this IS true... It's making you gain FAT. And mostly deep tissue nasty BAD FAT. Fatty foods contribute to clogging you up with cholesterol and mostly subcutaneous fat. Heavy carbs, especially heavily processed, contribute to deep tissue fat.

If what you want is to gain muscle weight, eat an excess of protein and workout enough to use it.

If you DO want fat, go for healthy fats like fish oils and such to increase your subcutaneous "white fat" layer. Avoid things that are going to cause clogged arteries and deep tissue fat! BAD BAD BAD!!!! I CAN NOT believe you seriously even suggested it Monika!

Well, Abi, Larana didn't say she wanted to gain muscle. I assumed she needed fat to redistribute into a more female distribution pattern. Of course, if a person wants muscle, consume lots of whey protein, lift lots of weights, and, being in a testosterone-driven body, one will gain bulky muscle. Regarding carbs, there really is no such thing as a "good" carb. The glycemic load difference between white rice and brown rice is negligible. The same goes for white flour and whole wheat flour. Potatoes are terrible for a person, and sweet potatoes are only slightly better. If one sticks to healthier things like berries, pears and apples, it is nearly impossible to consume enough extra calories to gain weight. Furthermore, fruits with low glycemic indices tend to be high in fructose which we now know is a major contributor to insulin resistance. Bananas and watermelon might get you there. Sadly, weight gain does take a lot of bad carbs. Most veggies are so low in calories, again, it is nearly impossible to gain weight. Starchy veggies like corn, potatoes and lima beans are an exception. Honestly, triglycerides are more dangerous than cholesterol, and triglycerides form from unused carbs. Aerobic exercise can help minimize the formation of triglycerides, but then there might not be much weight gain. The whole Weight Watchers points system is apparently based on controlling the intake of carbs. I'm not sure there is a healthy way to gain body fat that doesn't include poor food choices and bad lifestyle habits.

I'm sorry Monika but you're wrong!

Especially about the "only way is bad fat".

You CAN help encourage the natural process of putting on subcutaneous fat, which would happen anyways. It's impossible for a healthy person without either serious eating disorders to the point they're already basically dead anyways or certain skin diseases to NOT have subcutaneous fat. It is possible to keep yourself completely free from deep tissue fat. Though they are finding that NO deep tissue fat is actually not good either. You've got to be a crazy person to keep free of it anyways.

NO ONE should be carb loading unless they are going to be immediately using ALL that energy. (Serious athletes just before a big event are basically it.)

Did you know that by simply being in the sun your body depletes its subcutaneous fat stores in the processes that produce natural vitamin D? So either supplementing vitamin D so your body shuts off production in response to the sun or avoiding excessive sun exposure == more subcutaneous fat.

Also as mentioned, healthy fats like fish fats and evoo help through various means...

Carb loading for fat gain is a recipe for VERY bad health VERY fast. And I guarantee you'll be gaining it where you don't want it.

I did say it wasn't healthy. Fish are animals so fish oil is animal fat. Beyond that, we'll just have to agree to disagree.
