Ok, this is a crappy cell phone pic, sorry..
But, this is my boobies. I started NBE about a year ago.
About 6-7 months on I started a mix of herbals and synthetics.
I was getting the synthetics via overseas sources without prescription.
This is what I've achieved in about 1 year.

I fill a B cup bra now. However, my cup doth not runeth over. My left one is a little smaller than my right one so that makes my measurements a little goofy,
About 3 weeks ago I quit all herbals and began injecting Delestrogen, again without a prescription.
I went to a TG friendly clinic and got a legal prescription for the stuff.
I do my own injections now. It's really not so bad at all. It doesn't really hurt.

Anyway, my boobs as they are in that picture aren't because of the injections, it's too soon for that yet.
But they are a result of the mix of synthetic pills and herbals and the Porcine Ovary I have been taking for a long time now.
My boobie measurements are in US inches:
under: 38"
around: 44"
over: 39"
Some might call em an A cup, some might call em a B cup. One stupid calculator told me I'm a F cup.. Puhleeeeeeze...
Anyway, from the photo you can see that they aren't easily hideable anymore.
In the past few weeks they have gotten really tender, itchy, stinging, etc... All the signs. Plus they feel swollen and tight and if I squeeze them a little I get some discharge. So there's a lot going on in there. I'm sure that I've got more in store for me.
I do have NBE to thank for getting me this far. :-)

Well, as I recall, I was doing massive amounts of Red Clover, a little Black Cohosh (careful, it upsets the tummy), spearmint tea (still doing that) Saw Palmetto, etc...
It's been a while, but If remember right, I think I was taking as much as 20,000mg of phytoestrogens per day. Probably waaay into the unhealthy range.
I just can't recall the specifics. I have serious short term memory problems, I have no memory of yesterday. I can barely remember this morning. In a few years, I may remember *today*. But tomorrow, I won't.
I posted here numerous times what my specific regime was but I can't seem to locate those old posts at the moment. I have a serious migraine and I just can't think clearly to get anything accomplished.
Anyway, what you see there is mostly thanks to PE's and with a boost in the past few months from *weak* birth control pills.
Now I'm doing 40mg a week of Delestrogen which is many, many, many times stronger than any PE's...
I'm not knocking PE's at all, they work. Many people say they do not. Well, they just didn't put their heart and effort into it.
It takes time. You ain't gonna grow tits in a week or a month or 3 months. You may get a little protrusion going on there at first but it takes a long time to grow big honking hooters..
It all depends on what you want.
Secret boobies? PE's will do ya.
FULL female tits? Hard core prescription meds are what it takes. And TIME..

eh, the with bra pic came out pretty crummy. I'll skip posting it.
Now that it's getting hot I won't be able to wear my flannel dyke shirts anymore. I won't be able to hide em anymore.
It gets extremely hot here, soon it will be hotter than hell, the average temp will hover around the 100f / 38c range with humidity average 96% or worse. It's miserable here. And it stays that way about 9 months of the year. My only survival option will be a tshirt. Uh oh..
Without a bra they are pretty obvious. If I wear a bra it seems to sort of round em out a little so my nips aren't poking through my shirt. :-(
Also, since I've started doing the heavy duty stuff, they are so very, very tender now. Things are going to be getting very interesting very soon.. Full blown heat wave is only a few weeks away.

Well, actually, no, not at all. As a matter of fact, it was causing me physical problems.
It actually increased libido a LOT, to the point that about every three days pressure would build up and it had to be relieved because walking was painful. They would fill up and hurt like hell. I felt like someone kicked them.
And we're talking gallons and insane orgasms. It would shame a porn star.
I have no idea why this was happening, I can not explain it at all. But the herbals had really, really fired up the sex drive and function to unbelievable levels.
OTOH, since I began taking synthetic hormones everything down there has stopped. No function, no nothing. It's all shrinking away too. I have no sex drive at all, no desire for sex, not even a tiny bit. Actually, the thought of sex repulses me now. I have zero interest in porn or sex or anything. It's actually a liberating experience, to be free from primal male urges.
But, it's not the end of the world. While on on hand I am free of male function, urges, desire, drive, etc. those things are being replaced with female drive, desire, urges, etc.. :-) And it's far more powerful than anything I've ever experienced before. The reason being, female sexual desire is very emotionally driven. Male function is a quick, get er done and forget about it thing. Female desire and orgasm is sooooo completely different because it is centered around deep, core emotions. And emotion is a very powerful thing.
A few weeks ago I popped 20mg of Delestrogen (injection) and later that day, several hours, it hit me. It's hard to explain and impossible to understand until you've had it happen to you. To put it in a nutshell, I suddenly and without warning was overtaken with desire. And it was so strong, so powerful that I couldn't handle it. It made me extremely horny. But the horniness was not physical at all. Not even a little. It was totally an emotional thing. I was to the core of my being.
And believe it or not, I had an orgasm. Not a physical orgasm, an emotional orgasm. It was insane. And it was fantastic beyond description. But again, I stress that there was *nothing* physical about it at all. No erection, no physical orgasm at all. It was pure emotion and nothing else.
To me, it was a deeply feminine experience, it was gave me a taste of what I believe cisgendered women probably experience. Though I can't say for sure because I was born with an XY body and all the wrong parts. But still, I am pretty sure it was damn close at the very least. And it was soooooooooo good. It was light years better than anything I have ever experienced before in my 47 years.
You may think I'm nutty and talking s**t but I'm telling you, I had a female orgasm and it was wonderful.
This Friday I get to inject my new prescription E which is 40mg. I'm almost scared to think what that's going to do to me after seeing what happened when I did 20mg at once.
Bottom line, I don't think taking herbals is any risk to you losing your male function. All it did was increase mine to a great degree. However, if you go to synthetics, expect to lose all function and desire. And go totally sterile too.
But, over time things *may* change for you as they did for me. Maybe.......

A little update. A month ago I went for my first laser treatment. (about 18 years ago I had a lot of electrolysis done so there wasn't much left)
About two week after the laser, the hair started falling out like crazy. And right after that, I started getting called ma'am instead of sir, more and more often. And in plain jane dyke mode. Jeans (womens of course) unisex tshirt and flannel dyke shirt over the tshirt. And NO makeup.
Yesterday I went back to Houston for my second laser treatment (#2 of 4).. Spent the entire day in Houston with my trans friends but I was in light makeup and obvious girl clothes. All day, everyone called me ma'am everywhere I went. :-)
I stayed overnight with a friend so I wouldn't have to drive in the middle of the night.
On my way out this morning, I stopped for gas. Filled up and paid at the pump.
Went inside for a cup of coffee. I get it and go to the counter. The girl behind the counter asks me, "Good morning ma'am, will that be all for you?" I told her yes, she asked if it was coffee or cappuccino and I told her it was coffee. She tells me 95 cents and I hand her a dollar, she hands me back a nickel and tells me "Thank you ma'am, have a nice day."...
Wow.. And again, zero makeup. the usual tshirt and flannel shirt. I was not at all in the least trying to present as female but apparently it's happening anyway.
Now that I'm really amping up on hormones and doing the laser, I guess it won't be too long before I'll have to go full time.
My friends tell me you know it's time when you walk into a men's restroom and someone tells you "WOA! Excuse me ma'am but this is the MENS ROOM" as they give you dirty, evil looks.
That's when it's time to totally abandon the last remaining fragments of the old male persona and begin to live your new life full time, 24/7...
As time goes on, eventually you reach a point where you simply can't pass as a male.
I have a feeling that time is coming soon for me.
Last night at the TG meeting, the #1 woman that runs it all, (she's post op 4 years now) looked at me and told me that she thinks I look ready to go FT now. Well, I dunno. I want to let my boobies get a bit bigger, hair longer, more laser and a lot more "plain Jane ma'am's" behind me first. But I am pretty sure I will be FT before the end of 2008...
well, just wanted to share that little tidbit of my life..

I wanted to respond to a couple of your comments:
1) About female orgasms - I took Transfemme for about 2 months and towards the end of that time, I too, felt an incredible, deep orgasm in my stomach region that was amazing - it was not physical, instead I agree with your description of it being emotional.
I stopped taking TF and returned to phytoestrogens because I just want breasts plus my erections. Since then I have not had that same orgasmic experience. At some point I may try taking a bit more Transfemme and see if I can make it happen again.
2) On being recognized as a woman - Do you think you are now giving off female pheromones which are cluing people into your changes?

Hmmm.. Probably so. I really don't pass very well as a male anymore. Strangers either say ma'am and use female pronouns or they make no gender reference at all, IE they are unsure.
I haven't been called "sir" in a good while.
As for hormones and such. I'm injecting 40mg of Delestrogen per week and I take 200mg of Spironolactone per day. A few months ago I had a testosterone level test and a liver function test.
This was when I was only taking 100mg of Spiro per day. My T level was 33 which is even low for a natal female and for a male, that's waaaaaaaaaaay low as males T leves should bottom out no lower than about 300 and go up to about 1200, with 600 to 800 being average.
My liver function test was excellent which means that my system is processing my estrogen properly and in a healthy way. There was no reason to take an E level test because we KNOW it's much higher than any average natal female usually is.
So, bottom line, hormonally, I'm female. And it's really showing. Laser has almost totally eradicated any facial hair and that has helped a lot. The boobie pic I posted before, I've grown since then and am continuing to grow. I'm to the point that I can no longer hide them and that I have to wear a bra all the time now, for several reasons.
Actually, my transition has really lurched ahead much faster than I had expected. I don't know how much longer I can keep up the facade of presenting as a male from time to time, such as for work. The changes are too many and too great to hide. My very appearance gives me away.
And btw, I'm "passing" so to speak without trying. No makeup, just jeans and a tshirt and a flannel shirt over. Plain Jane. That alone says something.

Well speaking of progress.. The other day I went to my credit union to make a deposit.
I give the girl my deposit slip and cash and wait while she does all her things.
She asks me if that will be all. I tell her yes and then she says,
"Ok thank you. I'll mail the receipt to him"
I said "Pardon?"
She said "I'm sorry I can't let you have his information ma'am, we'll mail the receipt to him."
I had enough snap to understand what was going on so I just smile at her and say "Oh, ok then, thank you" and I left.
Now THAT freaked me out. And I was not trying at all to "pass".. I was looking like I always do, in my sloppy clothes.
My body is changing with the speed of a grassfire. It's just crazy how fast it is happening now. I seem to have be on an express train now and it's full throttle.
I can very, very clearly see changes from one day to the next. I never in a million years would have believed it could happen to me. I had low expectations when I started this.
Also, I just ordered some grapefruit seed extract tablets (6mo supply) and that is known to help keep estrogen in your system longer than normal. The result of course is more complete metabolism of estrogen with better results.
I'm sure Fennel has probably mentioned it before here.
I'm to the point that my *body* doesn't really pass for male anymore, provided I hide the naughty bits.
I'm very rapidly taking on the classic hourglass shape. I'm still overweight somewhat and that detracts from my appearance but I plan to lose weight soon and then, WOW!
I just want to wait a while and let the hormones do their magic first, by having the extra body fat, the estrogen has something to work with, it can "rob Peter to pay Paul" so to speak by moving fat around into the places it should be in, the curvy girly places. :-)
I'm diggin it so much that my body is finally beginning to look "normal" at least as my mind thinks it should look, female.
I'll estimate that in a year's time from now that I'll be living 100% full time as a woman because I will no longer be able to pass as a male... :-)
God I love my estrogen!

Do bear in mind, that picture is OLD now. It was taken before I started injecting mega doses of estrogen.
I was only taking *weak* birth control pills at the time.

No. Synthetics can be dangerous. If that's the route you want to go, go see a doctor, get a legit and legal prescription and let the doctor monitor your health and supervise your use of the drugs.
Another problem with synthetics is, they are controlled substances (steroids) and you can be arrested if caught with them.
Herbals are generally thought to be safe and are almost always legal everywhere with few exceptions.
Play it safe and healthy..

Well, actually, no, not at all. As a matter of fact, it was causing me physical problems.
It actually increased libido a LOT, to the point that about every three days pressure would build up and it had to be relieved because walking was painful. They would fill up and hurt like hell. I felt like someone kicked them.
And we're talking gallons and insane orgasms. It would shame a porn star.
I have no idea why this was happening, I can not explain it at all. But the herbals had really, really fired up the sex drive and function to unbelievable levels.
OTOH, since I began taking synthetic hormones everything down there has stopped. No function, no nothing. It's all shrinking away too. I have no sex drive at all, no desire for sex, not even a tiny bit. Actually, the thought of sex repulses me now. I have zero interest in porn or sex or anything. It's actually a liberating experience, to be free from primal male urges.
But, it's not the end of the world. While on on hand I am free of male function, urges, desire, drive, etc. those things are being replaced with female drive, desire, urges, etc.. :-) And it's far more powerful than anything I've ever experienced before. The reason being, female sexual desire is very emotionally driven. Male function is a quick, get er done and forget about it thing. Female desire and orgasm is sooooo completely different because it is centered around deep, core emotions. And emotion is a very powerful thing.
A few weeks ago I popped 20mg of Delestrogen (injection) and later that day, several hours, it hit me. It's hard to explain and impossible to understand until you've had it happen to you. To put it in a nutshell, I suddenly and without warning was overtaken with desire. And it was so strong, so powerful that I couldn't handle it. It made me extremely horny. But the horniness was not physical at all. Not even a little. It was totally an emotional thing. I was to the core of my being.
And believe it or not, I had an orgasm. Not a physical orgasm, an emotional orgasm. It was insane. And it was fantastic beyond description. But again, I stress that there was *nothing* physical about it at all. No erection, no physical orgasm at all. It was pure emotion and nothing else.
To me, it was a deeply feminine experience, it was gave me a taste of what I believe cisgendered women probably experience. Though I can't say for sure because I was born with an XY body and all the wrong parts. But still, I am pretty sure it was damn close at the very least. And it was soooooooooo good. It was light years better than anything I have ever experienced before in my 47 years.
You may think I'm nutty and talking s**t but I'm telling you, I had a female orgasm and it was wonderful.
This Friday I get to inject my new prescription E which is 40mg. I'm almost scared to think what that's going to do to me after seeing what happened when I did 20mg at once.
Bottom line, I don't think taking herbals is any risk to you losing your male function. All it did was increase mine to a great degree. However, if you go to synthetics, expect to lose all function and desire. And go totally sterile too.
But, over time things *may* change for you as they did for me. Maybe.......

A little update. A month ago I went for my first laser treatment. (about 18 years ago I had a lot of electrolysis done so there wasn't much left)
About two week after the laser, the hair started falling out like crazy. And right after that, I started getting called ma'am instead of sir, more and more often. And in plain jane dyke mode. Jeans (womens of course) unisex tshirt and flannel dyke shirt over the tshirt. And NO makeup.
Yesterday I went back to Houston for my second laser treatment (#2 of 4).. Spent the entire day in Houston with my trans friends but I was in light makeup and obvious girl clothes. All day, everyone called me ma'am everywhere I went. :-)
I stayed overnight with a friend so I wouldn't have to drive in the middle of the night.
On my way out this morning, I stopped for gas. Filled up and paid at the pump.
Went inside for a cup of coffee. I get it and go to the counter. The girl behind the counter asks me, "Good morning ma'am, will that be all for you?" I told her yes, she asked if it was coffee or cappuccino and I told her it was coffee. She tells me 95 cents and I hand her a dollar, she hands me back a nickel and tells me "Thank you ma'am, have a nice day."...
Wow.. And again, zero makeup. the usual tshirt and flannel shirt. I was not at all in the least trying to present as female but apparently it's happening anyway.
Now that I'm really amping up on hormones and doing the laser, I guess it won't be too long before I'll have to go full time.
My friends tell me you know it's time when you walk into a men's restroom and someone tells you "WOA! Excuse me ma'am but this is the MENS ROOM" as they give you dirty, evil looks.
That's when it's time to totally abandon the last remaining fragments of the old male persona and begin to live your new life full time, 24/7...
As time goes on, eventually you reach a point where you simply can't pass as a male.
I have a feeling that time is coming soon for me.
Last night at the TG meeting, the #1 woman that runs it all, (she's post op 4 years now) looked at me and told me that she thinks I look ready to go FT now. Well, I dunno. I want to let my boobies get a bit bigger, hair longer, more laser and a lot more "plain Jane ma'am's" behind me first. But I am pretty sure I will be FT before the end of 2008...
well, just wanted to share that little tidbit of my life..

I wanted to respond to a couple of your comments:
1) About female orgasms - I took Transfemme for about 2 months and towards the end of that time, I too, felt an incredible, deep orgasm in my stomach region that was amazing - it was not physical, instead I agree with your description of it being emotional.
I stopped taking TF and returned to phytoestrogens because I just want breasts plus my erections. Since then I have not had that same orgasmic experience. At some point I may try taking a bit more Transfemme and see if I can make it happen again.
2) On being recognized as a woman - Do you think you are now giving off female pheromones which are cluing people into your changes?

Hmmm.. Probably so. I really don't pass very well as a male anymore. Strangers either say ma'am and use female pronouns or they make no gender reference at all, IE they are unsure.
I haven't been called "sir" in a good while.
As for hormones and such. I'm injecting 40mg of Delestrogen per week and I take 200mg of Spironolactone per day. A few months ago I had a testosterone level test and a liver function test.
This was when I was only taking 100mg of Spiro per day. My T level was 33 which is even low for a natal female and for a male, that's waaaaaaaaaaay low as males T leves should bottom out no lower than about 300 and go up to about 1200, with 600 to 800 being average.
My liver function test was excellent which means that my system is processing my estrogen properly and in a healthy way. There was no reason to take an E level test because we KNOW it's much higher than any average natal female usually is.
So, bottom line, hormonally, I'm female. And it's really showing. Laser has almost totally eradicated any facial hair and that has helped a lot. The boobie pic I posted before, I've grown since then and am continuing to grow. I'm to the point that I can no longer hide them and that I have to wear a bra all the time now, for several reasons.
Actually, my transition has really lurched ahead much faster than I had expected. I don't know how much longer I can keep up the facade of presenting as a male from time to time, such as for work. The changes are too many and too great to hide. My very appearance gives me away.
And btw, I'm "passing" so to speak without trying. No makeup, just jeans and a tshirt and a flannel shirt over. Plain Jane. That alone says something.

Well speaking of progress.. The other day I went to my credit union to make a deposit.
I give the girl my deposit slip and cash and wait while she does all her things.
She asks me if that will be all. I tell her yes and then she says,
"Ok thank you. I'll mail the receipt to him"
I said "Pardon?"
She said "I'm sorry I can't let you have his information ma'am, we'll mail the receipt to him."
I had enough snap to understand what was going on so I just smile at her and say "Oh, ok then, thank you" and I left.
Now THAT freaked me out. And I was not trying at all to "pass".. I was looking like I always do, in my sloppy clothes.
My body is changing with the speed of a grassfire. It's just crazy how fast it is happening now. I seem to have be on an express train now and it's full throttle.
I can very, very clearly see changes from one day to the next. I never in a million years would have believed it could happen to me. I had low expectations when I started this.
Also, I just ordered some grapefruit seed extract tablets (6mo supply) and that is known to help keep estrogen in your system longer than normal. The result of course is more complete metabolism of estrogen with better results.
I'm sure Fennel has probably mentioned it before here.
I'm to the point that my *body* doesn't really pass for male anymore, provided I hide the naughty bits.
I'm very rapidly taking on the classic hourglass shape. I'm still overweight somewhat and that detracts from my appearance but I plan to lose weight soon and then, WOW!
I just want to wait a while and let the hormones do their magic first, by having the extra body fat, the estrogen has something to work with, it can "rob Peter to pay Paul" so to speak by moving fat around into the places it should be in, the curvy girly places. :-)
I'm diggin it so much that my body is finally beginning to look "normal" at least as my mind thinks it should look, female.
I'll estimate that in a year's time from now that I'll be living 100% full time as a woman because I will no longer be able to pass as a male... :-)
God I love my estrogen!

Do bear in mind, that picture is OLD now. It was taken before I started injecting mega doses of estrogen.
I was only taking *weak* birth control pills at the time.

No. Synthetics can be dangerous. If that's the route you want to go, go see a doctor, get a legit and legal prescription and let the doctor monitor your health and supervise your use of the drugs.
Another problem with synthetics is, they are controlled substances (steroids) and you can be arrested if caught with them.
Herbals are generally thought to be safe and are almost always legal everywhere with few exceptions.
Play it safe and healthy..
