During that time it's good to do a self assessment!, see if your goal has changed. If it's the same then proceed, if you have doubts then get a second opinion, a loved one or trusted friend, or even a professional.
Yes, Lotus, that makes a lot of sense. It occurred to me that part of the reassessment process should be to check how one's partner is taking the changes, as well. If a supportive spouse, starts having doubts, it could lead to trouble and regrets down the road.
So, I walked up to my wife who was preparing lunch, and facing her, placed her hands on my protruding breasts and said, "Three months on PM. What do you think?"
With her hands firmly planted there, she burst out laughing. "Why are laughing?" I asked with a hint of apprehension on my face.
She took both of my hands and placed them on her breasts and said, "Sixty years of estrogen. What do
you think?"
We both laughed at the hilarity of the scene being played out, and then she said, "Sorry honey...you're doing fine."
So I took that as a vote of confidence that I'm on the right track, at least from her perspective. I may still take an extended break, though.
Got to think it over for a couple days.
