I wonder what the hell she looking at?...I can imagine these things where traded around like baseball cards back in the day,or perhaps out of some dudes trunk!..or better yet the genius who came up with those titles!
Too funny!
After I looked at the cover again last night, I remembered that there really IS a Beacon Records!! So, in this case, I'm pretty sure that's an actual album! Another thing you have to remember is that, back then, there were a LOT of pornographic records being made!! I've got at least 4 or 5 45's from that era and they have nothing at all written on the labels, so you have NO idea what it is or who it is that made the record, but, each side is a dirty joke, usually told in front of a live audience! There was also an all-black college touring band called, Doug Clark And The Hot Nuts. They'd write and perform really risqué songs at any college frat house that'd hire them and they had a LOT of albums out back then! Each one ended with a new version of their theme song, "Hot Nuts".
They'd sing:
Nuts
Hot nuts
Ya get `em from the peanut man
Nuts
Hot nuts
Ya get `em anywhere you can
Then the band would stop playing and one guy would do a short dirty rhyme about someone in the audience:
See that girl there dressed in pink?
She's the one made my finger stink.
And then they'd sing Hot Nuts again, and this would go on for at least 5 minutes.
