Is my BO+RR plan good? Nothing yet, too early?

#1

Some background: I'm 46M, questioning my gender, desiring a more feminine figure. I tried 6 weeks on PM + RR, then switched to BO+RR. I've also IPL'd almost all of my body hair and have started getting laser on my facial hair.

5 weeks on BO now, 1500mg/day (6 tablets), after slowly ramping up over the first 2 weeks. Swanson Ovarian Glandular brand
First few weeks I was on RR 4000mg/day. Then took a week off to give liver a rest, now back on a high-strength one at 10000mg/day. Horbaach brand
I'm also on Iodine supplements to help with body temp, along with generic multi-vits and cod-liver oil.

So far, I'm not noticing much change. No signs of budding, nipples are no more sensitive or any change of colour. Still getting morning wood, but erections are more infrequent, possibly a bit smaller in size and it's more effort to climax. Body temp remains stubbornly at 36.6C. That said, I have been slowly losing weight, dropped 10kg since Jan when I gave up almost all booze, cake, sweets etc. I'm 183cm tall and now 70kg, being so slim I was never expecting massive breast, butt or hip growth!

As I'm coming to the end of the first 4 bottles of BO and awaiting more from iHerb, I just wanted to evaluate my plan, seek advice and reassurance regarding it.
Is the above BO+RR a good plan and worth sticking with?
Anything worth tweaking?

That said, I'm very close in my mind to just pursuing the DIY HRT route. Dunno, supplements feel less serious/scary for some reason, whilst I sit on the fence. Go figure, what's that all about?! :-)

I have no idea how much its able to do on its own, but combined with conventional HRT its working wonders to those who benefit from it. I dunno RR dosing, the one I had some years back was extract and dosed to be taken just one capsule a day. I highty recommend you go on conventional HRT and then boost it with NBE program for maximising body changes if you feel its the right thing to do.

BO is very slow, it could take a year before any measurable changes. NBE is an ultra marathon not a sprint.

I was on it for 2 years and there was a slight increase in 2 cup sizes. It was really difficult to keep weight off, I switched to Estradiol last year and lost almost 60 lbs, which really changed my band and cup sizes, I dropped 5 inches in band and an F to a D cup, however breasts and figure are taking on a more feminine shape, which is what I am looking for.

So if you want faster changes switched to Estradiol, preferably medically supervised. In the USA it's easy with or without insurance but I hear other countries have more hoops to jump through and the end result can be a no.

Best of luck with whatever you choose.

Tomi,

What all did you do beside start E to lose the 60lbs? I'm set to start E in 2 weeks and was concerned about weight gain.

BO & RR dosage looks like th recommended dose so should be good, but do remember, BO doesn't work for everyone.
As others have said when BO works, which it might well be doing for you, it is very slow! Whereas conventional HRT works quicker and is more effective, but again is still slow.
I agree with HH, HRT with BO/RR is a powerful combo, as that is what I am on and seeing some great results.
The other option is to add or try a topical regime, again this works well, so a combo of E, PG, etc.
Probably not much help but for me, I wish I had started on estrogen much sooner as this would have saved me a load of money and I'd have better developed lower-half curves by now, which is my ultimate goal.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I was never expecting overnight changes, but of course, with slow changes, one can't help but wonder if there really are any changes afoot. I'll keep going with the BO for another couple of months and reevaluate.

I have also been using a little Life-flo BiEstro Cream too. Just a pea-sized blob most days, rubbed in face, chest and butt. However, I'm about to run out and debate whether it was worth the £28.

One point that was raised to me and had crossed my mind is whether the addition of RR as an AA is the best plan or not. Given that BO can start the aromatisation process that converts T to E, thus reducing T with RR might be counter to this.

As for HRT, I have been researching this a lot. Here in the UK, access via the NHS will involve several years of waiting, and it appears that many private providers also have waits ranging from several months to over a year. The DIY route is very tempting, backed up with some blood tests to confirm levels. I'm currently hanging fire on this until I've worked through my gender more with my therapist and wife.

Weight Watchers. It's completely sustainable and is really a change in eating habits. No foods are ruled out however the more lean protein, fruits and veggies you eat the better.
