As we know licorice root is a very potent Pro-aromatase (converts androgens into estrogens). On the other hand, reishi root is a very powerful antiandrogen (reduces androgens).
Therefore, I understand that licorice needs androgens, but if the reishi blocks them, then licorice will not be able to act well, is that correct?
Is it advisable to take both herbs at the same time?
