Haha. I do have a pair of yoga pants that still fit. If I can't get anything else before the weather warms up I'll just wear them. My main concern was that the majority of the clothes I have that still fit are skirts and dresses, not good for riding a bike if I don't want to give everyone a free show. I said I have a pair of yoga pants that still fit? I meant just that. I have A pair of yoga pants that still fit. Dodgy

It's my bad. I should have specified to begin with. But yeah, I was talking about low impact endurance cardio as the pretty much opposite of high impact interval training. HIIT is meant to tone, endurance cardio is meant to shed pounds. Any kind of pounds. All kinds of pounds. You actually do HIIT on an elliptical most of the time, though it is possible to do endurance cardio on one. The purpose of the elliptical is to reduce skeletal impact for people with bad joints or other skeletal problems. Two different kinds of impact, very different. High muscle impact puts stress on muscles, helps build and maintain muscle while losing fat, high skeletal impact damages skeletal tissues and is really a pretty good idea to minimize for anybody, but when the damage is already severe it becomes even more important to try to reach NO skeletal impact if possible, which is where machines like the elliptical come in to replace machines like bikes and treadmills whose impact on skeletal tissues, while not damaging to healthy tissues, can cause stress to people who already have skeletal problems.

I know how you feel. I have a ton of jeggings and jeans that don't fit me (stupid thighs!) but I keep hold of them for inspiration. At least I can pick up leggings pretty cheap and i have a couple of pairs of 3/4 workout tracksuit bottoms.

Its my own fault I have bad ankles. I used to sit with one foot underneath me. A habit I am still trying to stop, I do it a lot less now though. And am very good at noticing when I am doing it

Ones that clip onto a baseball cap are $1.12 on eBay. A headband one is $1.28. Walmart has them starting at $4.82.

Well, I'm not going to get him to go several miles away to the nearest Walmart, but maybe Meijer's, Target, or Kmart will have it for similarly low pricing. Next week perhaps. Then I can read while on the stationary bike.

BF just got home with new scale. I'm goddamned 190 lbs right now! Yikes! For any metrics out there reading this, that's 86 kg. And I can assure you there's not much in that measurement that's lean mass.

Just did the calculations, my Body Fat % is 29%, and my LBM is 135 lbs (61 kg), and my goal weight is the absolute minimum healthy weight for a person of my height which is 112 lbs (51 kg). I need to shed 78 pounds (35.4 kg) of combination fat and muscle to reach it.

I am morbidly obese for a male, which my hormone profile most certainly is right now. Obesity in men starts at 25% body fat, I'm pushing towards 30%.

To the folks who said I wasn't morbidly obese? Told ya so. And this folks, is what happens when I have to try to survive on too much carb. My body does NOT tolerate carbs well.

Oh, and this means when I managed to reach 140 pounds a few years ago? That was as small as I was going to get on a masculine hormone profile.

You still weigh less than me Abi! I got weighed when I had my implant removed, I asked them not to tell me but saw a figure over 100 (kg) written down (didn't see exactly what)
I need to calculate things like bmi, body fat etc one day
I know I'm obese, I know by body fat % is too high. The reason I don't want to know exact figures right now is because I will probably just get upset. I'm doing the best I can to lower whatever these numbers on. When I get closer to how I want to look I'll weigh myself and get my body fat measured etc in order to figure out a plan to make my body a healthier make-up.
For now I'm happy knowing I'm losing weight.

Yeah, I'm certainly glad I don't weigh even more. And now I have everything I need to work up a diet plan and when all the bills are caught up start burning all this off. I'll go ahead and do a starting pic when that time comes as well so people can see how horrendously fat I am right now. I mean. I'm glad it's not worse, but, it's bad.

I am sure you're not "horrendously fat". My main problem areas are thighs, belly and upper arms. I'm gonna really start cracking down soon. I really can't wait to get a gym membership, I know home workouts are good, but I just prefer the gym lol

I'm almost all abdominal right now. Very male pattern. Most of what isn't is on my lower back, also considered male pattern. I do have smallish boobs from last time I was on a program and they even increased slightly from the EGCg I'm on right now, and I do have hips and thighs as well... but I don't really consider THOSE a problem, though they will likely go away too at first before I start to intentionally put a little weight back on, better placed and more toned in a feminine way!

I really can't get a gym membership right now, but I definitely will need one eventually. Maybe when I get started on my diet and start feeling better I can get my typing speed up and apply to Apple AND get hired dammit! Then I can do everything!
