Before I start any kinda program NBE or start playing with Herbs.
I have a Doc appointment for tomorrow. Just thinking maybe I should ask for blood work or something?
Is there anything I could ask for that would give me a good output of my system so I can find the NBE herbs/supps that will best suit me? (Kinda like making a tailored program based off my body)
Any input would be great.
How's your health?, any history of diabetes, eye trouble, weight, how much do you exercise, cholesterol, family history of cancer, etc?.
Short of transgender pre-screening tests, these are questions one should ask yourself and the PCP. A metabolic profile, a Complete hormone panel is the minimum of what I'd ask for. If testing estrogen needs to be justified, be prepared to answer why.
* taking NBE herbs can have similar Hrt effects.
Health? Good I guess. Yes I have a family history of, Diabetes, Cancer and Stroke (Hence why I'm not jumping on any old NBE program)
I don't exercise much as my job is very stationary.
I was thinking of bringing up my developing "moobs" to him and see if he will send me for a T test. But I wasn't sure what I should ask for.
I'm willing to bet you've suppressed your thyroid, which elevates the protein SHBG (sex hormone binding globulin) and binds T in the blood.......net effect, lower T and moobs.
An example would be eating a 24oz porterhouse and snoozing afterwards. The net effect there is tying the fat from the steak in the blood the next 4 hours, (the likely event of binding of SHBG, equaling lower T). (The bells are going off somewhere, lol)
FFA (free fatty acids) from fats (poly and unsaturated fats) are bound in blood serum by as much as 98%, hormones in serum are the same way, 98% bound, meaning the limited (if not none) effects on the way hormones and fats can be released, (activated).
Think about it, this means when we take (be it NBE or Hrt) it (most) stays in our blood. Two things happen as a result...........it goes to our gut or (hips, thighs, ass) ok that's 4. A small percentage is seen in breast growth. The question is, is it female pattern boob growth?, with the proper maturation it can be I on, whats needed is the know how to get it done.
If you (we) don't adopt a program that includes some from of PE this will happen. Some herbs burn fat (e.g. green tea) it's called lipoysis, seen here-
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lipolysis
The hormone Leptin also helps with the process of burning fat too.
Sorry Daria, I went off track here. From experience, the PCP will write for Testoerone injections to raise T. Now doubt it will raise Free T, but in a suppressed T state, you'll get a cascade of E1/E2 flooding receptors. Personally, they should add an aromatase inhibitor with T therapy to raise T. But, taking 2 grams of fish oil will raise free T via DHEA/androstenedione pathway, (less side effects)........you'd still need exercise in this model to release the FFA's (serum free fatty acids).
Long story short, proceed with extreme caution and approval from PCP too proceed. Hopefully you have an understanding doc that's willing to help, maybe a blood test every 3 months could help too.
Good luck Daria.
