So today was my physical and ive nvr been happier to live in new York.
First off the place I went to is so trans friendly tht they call me by my preferred name
(Alexis) and nvr used make references towards me at all and when a nurse did the receptionist corrected her immediately. I did the intake and psychosocial right there.
Im signed up to their transgender program now and tomorrow is my levels test and my first support group meeting. My insurance doesn't cover hormones but the clinic I ho to has a hook up with a pharmacy and the pills or patches will cost me no more than 20 bucks for a one month supply. They said I need to start living as a female full time though. But on the plus side they r giving me a referral to get my gender and name changed officially(on paper) free of charge. They r also in connection with a lawfirm currently fighting a case to get insurance to cover g.r.s. all in all I had a great day.
