So.. my Doctor canceled the PET scan, and nobody bothered to inform me of this so I showed up at the hospital for the appointment. Walked across the street and chewed my doctors receptionists out ( I was not very polite, and there may have been a long series of F bombs involved) for incompetence.

I am going to find another doctor. Can't deal with incompetence.

Especially as they called me yesterday to inform me I was scheduled for the pet scan today. less than 24 hrs warning. Then I get there and find they canceled it. That has me more angry than anything else. They wasted my time, my brothers time, my brothers gas etc, had I done that to them, I'd be charged for it.

I told them I have never seen such incompetence in my entire 50 F&*&^%$ years of life and that they were F*&&% lazy, backwards and need to get their F**&^^ Sh*& together. Then turned around and walked out the door before they could call the cops on me. I think I dropped more F-bombs in the 4 minutes I was in the office, than I have in the last 2 months. I DETEST incompetence, especially in the medical field. Had I not shown up for an appointment they'd charge me, but it's ok for them to waste my entire morning following the dietary requirements for the PET scan (no food, no coffee etc). I'm seriously not happy with them right now. I wouldn't really be as mad as I am if this was a one off shot, but they have done this more than once. Sheer incompetence.

Hmmm, cant wonder why??? Just because of them NOT being capable of picking up a phone..... SHEESH.... You expect too much. NOT.

That is sort of the reason I went to a different MD after being with mine for over 20yrs. I still think that if he would of put an ECG on me on the first of 3 visits I wouldn't of needed open heart surgery and lost 25-30% of my heart. I am just peeved that I waited so long to do so.

After an exchange this morning with my doctor. I fired them all.

The "how dare you treat my employees that way" exchange ended with me saying "How dare you waste MY time, my brothers time and his gas, for an appointment you only informed me of the day before and then canceled w/o bothering to tell me you did so. This is the third time you and your people have wasted my time needlessly. That dog don't hunt in my book, and your employees got off light. So tell ya what, here's how this is going to end, you're fired. Now f*** off. *and then I hung up on him*

Wow, WTG. Doctor's used to care, and not just for the sake of their Rolls Royce or 2 million dollar homes.

Cordless home phones are just not NEARLY as satisfying to hang up on some prat with as the old clunky wired phones. It's hard to make your point when all you can do is press a button to hang up with instead of slamming the phone down into the receiver cradle. *grumbles angrily*
