New BO User - For Science

#21

Concentrate on getting better again, then have a reset/rethink.
Maybe consider low dose BO so at least you are doing something, but ultimately your health - body and mind takes priority.

Thank you wee2er.

I'm pretty much back to 100%. I'm certain it was just a viral bug that's been going around.

I guess I hadn't thought much about dropping down to a low dose. It could be interesting to see how that goes for an extended period. The mechanisms involved with BO are pretty fascinating. I don't claim to understand anything more than a small fraction of it but this experiment has definitely sparked my interest in learning more.

Good to hear you are pretty much back to 100%, I'm suffering at the mo with a flair up of my eczema so off everything bar my Een, it's a real pain when you aren't 100%!

A low dose BO regime might work well for you, with small enough doses to just keep the changes trickling along nicely, whilst doing more research.

I find the thirst for knowledge quite addictive, research it, try it, evaluate it, adjust it, and so one.

Good luck and stay in touch Smile

9 days off of BO now and everything is mostly back to normal. It took about 5 days for the testicle ache to completely subside. Male function is mostly back to normal although flaccid size does seem to be smaller.

After about 4 days my breast tissue became more soft and squishy like other abdominal body fat. My nipples are less puffy again though they do seem to be erect more often but it very well could be just because I'm paying more attention. Again, these were very slight changes but ones noticeable to me.

I haven't noticed any extreme mental changes other than ADHD symptoms came back pretty quick. That and I'm somehow missing the feeling of being on BO.

I have blood work in two weeks so I'm curious to see how that goes. Apparently I'm one of the ones BO works on. I could definitely see myself going back on it and I get how once you start down this road, it could be hard to stop.

Hi AJ,
It's funny you should mention BO may be hard to stop. I took it for 2 years, one year at max recommended and 1 year on low dose or maintenance dosage as I like to call it. I tried to stop after 18 months, trying to ween myself off, I didn't like it. At year 2, I switched to estradiol under a doctors care and stopped BO completely, I didn't miss it, E gave me the same feeling of calmness. So I continue on the road of male feminization. I am not looking to transition and still enjoy being a man, but I also enjoy being a woman.

Update at about two and a half weeks off of BO.

It appears that any observable changes have mostly reverted. The breast tissue feels soft and loose again and the little rubbery feeling nodules beneath each nipple are virtually non-existent. Male function is mostly back where it started though it does seem a little harder to gain and maintain.

I will admit to having been scared of the rapid onset of changes that only one week of BO brought on. I am also relieved that things seemed to revert pretty quickly. It's almost hard to believe the effects of BO on myself but I am now definitely a believer. For whatever reason, I seem to be in that third camp of BO users that see immediate effects as Tomi66 explained it.

Something else that is really surprising me is that, despite the fear and hesitation during the first trial, I really want to try another cycle. I find myself missing the feeling of being on BO. I now definitely understand why some people on here seem to start and stop their cycles of BO and NBE in general.

People do talk about 'boob greed' LOL

I wonder if the changes has stirred your subconscious to think 'yes this is right for me' or could it just be curiosity wanting to see what changes would happen? Either way, you may well find yourself back on the BO wagon.

Going off how quickly BO worked for you, I'd suggest a low dose approach this time, take it slow.

Good luck with whichever way you decide.

There was definitely an immediate and noticeable effect for me. It really made itself felt in calming my typically racing mind and making it easier to focus. I wasn't expecting it or looking for it, it just happened.

I do have a hard time seeing myself taking BO under the pretense of not ending up transitioning. Perhaps the effects would be strongest right off the bat and then plateau in which case it would be possible. Otherwise, based on my very limited experience, I believe I would see serious feminization rather quickly which would make maintaining a male presentation somewhat difficult.

I do think I will try another week cycle to see if the effects I felt the first time return. You know, for science.
