Isn't it wonderful that we can bounce our ideas and feelings off others here in this forum to gauge what's possible and practical in our search for equanimity?

How about this for an idea: We add a thread showing pictures of ourselves en femme. I think Flame once did a shot of herself (neck down) in a lovely black dress, hose, and heels. It was really nice. Samantha has posted photos showing her fashion sense, too.

Just a wild thought.

Well, I have on order an experimental starter wig. One of my hangups is that I have never been keen on drastic hair colour changes. There are too many fake blondes in this world, and it's a regular subject that comes up with my wife. My attitude is that if she is lucky enough still to have most of her natural hair colour at 75, rejoice in it, don't change it. Surprisingly, I rather fancy her hairdresser has told her something similar. So to be true to my principles I had to find a suitably greying wig, which limits the available choices at the price I'm prepared to pay for an experiment. One thing that's held me back from acquiring a bra to date is difficulty in working out the correct size, and I suspect thereafter in actually finding suitable bras of that size. I don't think that my compulsion is yet near the level to get me to a professional fitter, so I may seek advice in our main forum.

As for a dress show, that's a great idea, but if I am ever to reach an adequate stage of dress to participate, it will probably take me a long time. But as you might say, who knows?
