I can't remember who said it here on this board recently, but the poster said the direction of the nipples/areola is very telling in distinguishing between breasts and moobs. The nipples/areola on breasts point forward, whether they point downwards on moobs.

I think this supposed distinction between male and female breasts gets repeated so often, it has come to seem like fact. If you take a look at the extensive photos of breasts on this site (http://www.007b.com/breast_gallery.php) I think you will see that the majority of 'normal' female breasts have nipples and aureolas pointing out to the sides, and a smaller number have nipples pointing downward. In my opinion, a minority of the photos have the nipples and areolas pointing straight forward.
