My age is 73, although our primary medical caregiver rates both myself and my wife as having physical ages about 10 years younger (which is nice, but I don't know how much it really means). I would probably have been in the 20-29 group had the possibility have been on my radar and had the knowledge and means been available. As it was I was able to sublimate my need to feel to some extent like a woman. to a degree during my twenties and thirties, and more successfully during my forties and fifties. I agree with Spanky that declining T levels may account for the size of the 50+ group but a larger factor may be that this group simply did not have the same opportunities as the present 20-29 group when they themselves were at that age. My own view is that the very complexities of the subject make it at least interesting to discuss.
