I've never made much use of the measuring tape. To me it seems like it's too easy to get overly optimistic or conservative numbers with a measuring tape.

So I should rather compare using photos than numbers?

It's a matter of personal preference. How does that saying go? "A picture is worth a thousand words (or numbers in this case)."

I think there's a lot the tape measure can overlook, such as the size of your areolas, the shape of your breasts, etc. Go ahead and do both if you want, but if you want feedback from the members on this board, I think you're going to get more detailed responses with a picture than just numbers.
