I found the same thing more or less PattiJT. When my nips are hot, things are happening. I'm not sure if keeping them warm will encourage growth though. The warmth seems to be generated inside because I can't see any other reason for the specificity of location of the warmth. Like you say, I think it is simply an indicator of action in the interior.
