And he also spouts some nonsense as well... But yeah. While I dislike the man and most of his ideas, he is right about some of that.

He's what I like to call a "political" psychologist though. Rather than research and learn actual FACTS, he would rather research and learn how to BEND them towards an agenda.

And a very significant part of that agenda is extreme heteronormativism. He loves to demonize every one on this forum as well as all the gays, lesbians, and gender-noncomformists of every stripe.

So... just be VERY VERY careful just how much you buy in to what he says. If you're not careful, he'll be convincing you to hate yourself before too long.

I'm not familiar with this psychiatrist. However, my impression from this article is he's a bit cynical and presumptuous. It strikes me as odd that despite how much he rants about the shortcomings with today's youth and society at large, he offers no real solutions.
