I've been away from the forums and there's just too much to catch up on, but I wanted to add my thoughts to this thread. Warning, this rambles a bit...
I have never wished I was born female, although since I was young, I always thought that one of my 3 wishes from a genie would be for the ability to swap physical genders at will. I remember this desire from less than 6 years old, so I don't believe it is in any way sexually driven. Needless to say, I haven't found any genies.
So this is the next best thing as far as I am concerned. I do not want to be stuck in one physical gender. But we all are stuck with one at a time. These days, you can change it but it takes a long time and isn't terribly reversible.
With that being the case, I prefer to stay mostly male. Absolutely the number one reason is that my wife is happiest that way. If she wasn't the wonderful person she is, I'm really not sure where my life would be at, but I don't think I would like it much. More rambling follows....
I like cars (less than when I was young). I like engineering things. I enjoy having the physical abilities that come with being male. I am very independent-minded and have never been much for accepting doing what I am told. I like my environment clean. I don't care much for conflict and don't handle it well as a result. I'm not all that competitive physically these days, although I was when I was younger. At one time, I was something of a bodybuilder but not real serious and that ended after a serious accident took me out of the gym for good. For physical recreation, I enjoy things like golfing, walking, cycling, kayaking, canoeing, swimming. Notice none of these requires other participants even though they are more enjoyable with friends.
I like women's clothing and colors way more than men's. I prefer lesbian porn because the only member that is of interest to me is my own. I like things quiet and not crowded. I enjoy reading. I don't mind doing housework, but hate cleaning up after others. I would rather have a jag than a vette. My upper body has always been almost completely hairless and I have never needed to shave my face more than once a week my whole life. Pro sports haven't interested me since I got old enough to realize what they are about and what kind of people inhabit that world.
Oh, and I love my boobies and have no desire for anything else feminine about my body. 98cm under, 113 over. Nicely shaped if I do say so myself. Impossible to hide without a jacket or coat. And I don't care. It helps that I live in a modern progressive country and have never had any interest in the kind of bars and such that ignorant jerks prefer to infest.
