It pisses me off so much that MY existence has been politicised and turned into some chess piece to buy votes with... And that my sisters and brothers are being oppressed and denied rights to healthcare and the right to just exist as normal people. And I'm afraid the erosion of rights and hatred is creeping closer to home every day.
And I say this regardless of the fact that I don't upkeep any kind of strong "trans identity" as I never had one. I'm intersex, I've always felt the same about myself, it just took a long time to figure out the specifics and build a plan on how to fix my body. Once I'm all done, I'll not mention my bakcground anywhere but instead be an ally. I'm old school, to me this is sex change, of all those characteristics that didn't develop on female setting right away. Its not a social identity thing further than demanding respect and right to live as me.
This forum should have absolute zero tolerance for any kind of transphobia, even crossdresser guys should understand this because they too can become victims of the same hatred. Haters will not make a distinction there at all, who of you wants to become collateral damage? I bet none.
Denial of facts on what transition does and how fundamental the changes are, socially, mentally, physically, is the most obivous transphobia there is. There is no "debate" about this, there's nothing to debate. Transition care is becoming better each day, unless medical science is denied progress which is now happening in USA on insane breakneck pace. The country which has produced massive leaps in transition care is being ruined from the inside.
Our existence is not an opinion, its a fact of life and trans poeple existing is part of the human condition. And I want to feel welcome here, this bullshit "a man cannot become a woman" has no place on this forum, at all...
