Does the shipping cost look unreasonably high? If it is just a small amount higher, I suggest that the higher shipping cost may include the tariff cost as well. Or is a separate cost for the tariff listed? You could always ask for an explanation.
Like Shirazmn stated, companies outside the US actually stopped shipping to the US because there was no official plan or rate schedule for the tariffs. One of my orders from outside the US was held for almost 8 weeks until shipping resumed, I did have to make a small extra payment to cover the tariff. That same company now includes a separate line for US tariffs on their invoices.
