I know Dutasteride did something because shortly after I started taking it, my libido tanked, and I had all the sexual related side effects, it got better after a while. I then noticed that my breasts were changing.
To be honest, I thought I'd give PM a try for a couple of months then, I am thinking about making my own oestrogen gel, skip herbal HRT and follow a DIY HRT regimen consisting of a dose that is enough to supress testosterone and achieve an E level in the cis female range.

Knowing what I know now, if I was starting again I'd skip it all and do (DIY/)HRT-Een injections or oestrogen gel, along with regular blood checks.
Let us know if/how you end up making your own oestrogel please.
