Oral estradiol might elevate blood clotting risk as it goes through liver metabolism almost completely, but that's nothing compared to old school synthetic estrogens. The stuff we take is bioidentical, the risks aren't usually anything alarming. Oral progesterone does thicken blood to some extent from what I understand, I'm not certain about other methods.
Most likely you're scared of nothing if you go on HRT done with the methods I mentioned. There is no other alternative really, there's HRT and then there's surgery and that's pretty much it. Maybe you should consult a doctor about this? Although they're often mistaken about the blood clot risks as a lot of them have very outdated information on feminising HRT methods.
I'm no doctor, but I do know that patches, gel and injection and to an extent, sublingual/buccal pills are quite safe on this regard.
thank you! In your opinion, can estrogen gel+RR capsule be effective? Should I apply it to my breasts or arms? (or maybe genitals?)
