I don't know what it was, I can say though, since stopping I've had no more pain which is lovely. You have no idea of the simple pleasure in just being able to lie down in any position and it not to hurt  it also adds weight to the fact that it was a supplement causing this rather than anything else occurring on its own (I don't drink alcohol by the way)
