Progesterone is known for causing higher libido, happens to some people. I don't have much that reaction from it. DHEA causing skin issues is quite interesting, I wonder what does it as DHEA can convert to was it around twenty different hormones which is awesome, but the difficulty is about how to control it.
There is no good way for that known, but it seems that the female hormone balance + topical protocol makes it work a certain way. (Reversing breast athropy and elevating local E1, E2 and E3 levels.) But DHEA can also cause a spike in testosterone, DHT and what ever else when its not reacting like that. Its very useful amazing stuff, but a bit unpredictable. Like for example, if I take DHEA orally, I get a lot of androgen symptoms out of nowhere and my skin issue flare up, but topically it does none of that.
Very interesting about BO obviously working for you.
