Shoot, lotus asked me how things are and I said nothing. Sorry about that.
Well, the other day, A good while ago, I journeyed into this uncharted cave, it was a nice cave, very dark though. I found a little cave creature that could walk and talk. It couldn't see itself and so it thought it was as ugly as the rest of the cave, but it was beautiful. More beautiful than a human, perhaps. The cave wasn't ugly, but this was a pretty sensitive caveling. Pretty cynical, too. We made good friends, we had some common interests surprisingly. Though I asked it if it wanted to spend some time out in the sun and apparently it hates the sun, says the sun hurts it, and so it's the reason the caveling stays in that cave forever. I don't blame it, if every time I went out in the sun i got life endangering sunburns I'd be too scared to try a parasol or a big hat.
Well, we were pretty good friends, We enjoyed that cave, I ignored its hatred of sunshine and it did its best ignoring my love of sunshine.
Well, one day not that long ago I may have been a bit too cheerful about the especially sunny and nice day and the caveling really got fed up with it all and threw me out of the cave, and barred me from ever coming in again. Which was pretty sad for me, I'm still getting over that. I don't think it was justified. But I do still understand why it did that. If it could hear me I'd love to tell it that I won't bring up that fiery yellow ball again, if it meant I could spend some more evenings in that cozy cave with it to talk to. I don't hold anything against it no matter what. I just hope that beautiful melancholy creature finds fulfillment among the moss and stones.
In other news, the semesters almost over, only like a month left. Hope I can finish strong. Maybe I'll write a song about that caveling one day.
