I found reference to a clinical trial combining the more potent (twice as potent by weight acc'd to Wikipedia) levo-norgestrel with testosterone replacement therapy, for use as male birth control. presuming the TRT is to preserve libido and function. The highest dose of levo-norgestrel was effective on reducing sperm count with no loss of function- but again, they were also taking T.

In the trial, the men were taking either 250 or 500ug of levo-norgestrel by mouth, along with 200mg of intramuscular testosterone oenanthate. That's many times more norgestrel than the .075mg in the Opill which is just 75 micrograms.
The good news is that there appeared to be no toxicological side effects. And if the test subjects took a whopping half a milligram of the more potent form with no ill effects, the Opill shouldn't be dangerous- unless y'all think the 200mg of testosterone oenanthate protected them from blood clots?
But on the down side, it makes me wonder if that .075mg of norgestrel is worth taking. Y'all, my eyes lit up like I seen a Red Ryder BB gun under the Christmas tree when I saw a thread about an OTC hormone source that I don't have to mail-order. I'm thinking it's safe, but I'm also thinking it might not do much. Which isn't the answer that I want, but it's the feeling I get.
For health's sake, someone poke holes in my argument for its safety. And, for the love of the Divine Feminine, someone tear my argument the pill's probably as effective as an aspirin to shreds, please.
